Fantastic vegetarian food. I am an omnivore... however I do eat and cook a ton of vegetarian food. I have to say, this place really takes pride in the food they produce. Worth every penny. So sad they are closed now. I was fortunate enough to have a last meal on their last day. I wish the staff all the success in whatever comes next for them.
We local businesses LOVE the Wild Scallion. A top favorite lunch choice for us. Salad rolls with delicious marinated mushroom and amazing peanut sauce, and other fave is the tandoori lima beans with dried scallion topped rice with beet salad or the raw pizza. Very flavorful and perfect choice for vegans. Oh and the superb vegan cheesecake. We usually got take out because we were tending the gallery across the street but it was always the go-to place for my parents' sit down...
10/10 the only restaurant I go to in Penticton.The food is superb and the chef is an absolute genius. The menu is vegan with non-vegan options, so everyone can thoroughly enjoy their meal.The servers are fantastic. Super friendly, thoughtful, insightful and entertaining.Try the raw pizza. It's one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth and the portion size is perfect.And the cheesecake? WHAT?!? I have never had a vegan cheesecake that so closely resembles...
