Ordered this last minute for Christmas dinner. It only took 20 minutes from when we called in for our food to be ready. We ordered the dinner for 3, which easily would have fed a fourth person. It was DELICIOUS! This will definitely be our new Chinese food go-to place.

Ordered take This weekend and are order was ice cold ( special Chow Meir and the egg rolls were burned just about black. Won ton soup was cold. Very disappointed.

Were there not this last weekend but the weekend before, ordered take out.To be honest I wasnt expecting much, and I can honestly say I was wrong and pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and everyone in my group had seconds! My only gripe is that the food took a little longer that what I was told, but its small potatoes in comparison for what we got. Will def go back whenever im in port alberni .

Very nice and authentic Cantonese food (despite the name “Beijing Grand Restaurant“). Sweet and sour pork is crispy and tender. The fried rice is suitably dry, not soggy and clumpy, tho the BBQ pork in fried rice is a little bit too dry. The shrimps in Foo Young egg are fresh and bouncy, definitely not mushy frozen shrimps. All the dishes we ordered are nicely flavored and juicy. The restaurant owner is a very kind lady who can speak both Cantonese and English. Overall, as a Hongkonger, I am amazed by such quality of Cantonese food in Port Alberni.
