Wow…this is such a cute hidden gem. Lots of food so I would recommend the plater for 2. Also the cheese cake is to die for!

Took the family here last week and wow, amazing food!!! The service was super friendly and down to earth.

The best German restaurant you will find! The soup was amazing, the schnitzel was epically delicious (I tasted everyone's, so good, I got the jager) and the desserts were utterly decadent!

We will definitely be back, highly recommend!!

The Time Machine takes you back to a time when delicious German food was just down the road. The food tastes authentic and the atmosphere is exactly what you want to picture Bavaria in Canada. Nicole is the best and accommodates your every need. The go-to location for great food at a reasonable price in Port Alberni!! Highly recommend the bacon wrapped scallops!

Make a Reservation!!! First

Went with family and recommended great food, which did not disappoint!
The portions are generous to say the least. The new owner Brendan came to the table and spoke with us. Very friendly atmosphere and extremely popular. We went on a Monday night with a reservation and it was full all evening. I highly recommend going!

Port Alberni's little secret. Fantastic food! We were only sorry we couldn't eat more. Try the Goulash Soup - to die for!! It became our new favorite place!

We dined here with my wife's aunt and uncle may 12th I believe . You can not imagine the food they bring you. One of the best restaurant meals I've ever had the staff were amazing all you could here in the kitchen was the schnitzel being hand pounded out and the laughter it was amazing I even went to the kitchen door just to see . It was an experience you need to try . Cheers

Came here without reservation and was lucky to get a table for one. Service is great. People are very friendly. The food is so authentic... let me tell you: I'm a Belgian man who's here on a holiday and I'm not particulary fond of German food. But this food was so home made. It made me forget I'm in North America in a good way. Don't change a thing!
