It's the end of the Solda's story. After many decades of carrying on the family tradition the restaurants last day was yesterday (Dec 4th, 2022). They have all earned a well deserved retirement. Kudos to the Solda's family for taking care of the Port Alberni community (and guests from all over the world) for so many years with their culinary expertise.

A group of us rode there one evening. Had a great meal. Unfortunately I hear it has been sold and will be changing to a Spice Hut come the new year.Always a great place to stop. Food is always great as well as the service.

Cute little gem tucked away in Port Alberni. Great sandwiches and soup, fast service, and lovely staff. Will definitely make it a habit on our frequent trips to the west coast of the island.

Family diner with efficient service. Had liver and onions. Assembly chain type of food, frozen veggies, powder gravy, underwhelming mash. You can find better at some hospitals. I usually love diners but I won't be back here.2x? for the service.
