Great place ! We wanted seafood, and that's what we got 😋 the seafood platter for two was well worth it. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted goo and , we left full and happy. We hadn't eaten all day other wise we wouldn't of been able to eat as much as we did of the tray and there was still a bit left over haha. Place was decently clean and waitresses where friendly.

The atmosphere has changed dramatically! The service was less attentive and not once did they come and ask if we needed any top ups or anything else. I was sorry to have taken my family to a place I spoke so highly about. The waitress would rather chat together than do their jobs! If I was the owner I would be very worried about my business. The food quality was poor and overpriced. The Calamari was dripping with oil and the food was cold. For a business that had line ups to get into now being empty....says a lot! No pictures were taken since it wasn't worth the space in my device.

Port Alberni has fabulous restaurants but this NY steak Neptune is the best meal ever. The raspberry chocolate cheesecake is gorgeous and to die for. The portions are very generous, so you better fast before or go for a walk around beautiful Victoria Quay after your feast, hahaha. Thank you for an amazing lunch in such a beautiful place!

Shabby sports bar / pool hall ambience, not too clean, mixed crowd of hefty plus-size females and guys in ball caps – all raised on sugar – mill workers, farm hands, boat crew types with unruly kids getting up & running around – noisy rude diners out-yelling other tables - most gorging on cheap burgers-n-fries – that’s what it smelled like. Ear-splitting rap (not music) - so noisy the waitress – who took her sweet time - couldn’t hear us then conveniently mistook our appy orders for more expensive fare. Argued with us later – so no tip! Good seafood maybe – rowdy setting cheapened it all. We certainly didn’t fit in and won’t ever return.

It is incredibly refreshing in this day in age to day to go out, eat, pay for food and feel like you got every single penny worth in value. Best Clam Cowder I've had in ages and the portion sizes were significantly larger then expected. Everything was hot, seasoned very well and the service was excellent. If you're in the area it's a must stop for food!

Stellar meal for the 5 of us. Clam chowder is top tier as well as the fish and chips and burgers with onion rings. Giant portions , bring your appetite! We'll be back.
Husband and I started with the mushroom caps which were fantastic. We both had the Fish tacos (he got grilled, i got battered fish) and they were delicious. Husband tried the Tickety Boo (a pale ale) from Twin Cities brewery, which he enjoyed and my Caesar was great. Will return next time we’re in the area ?

We went there on the recommendation of our room rental company. Our salmon was really good too. But you can still work on the external impression. I wouldn't have come there on my own. But it's quite comfortable inside.
Parking: Parking spaces are available directly behind the restaurant.
