Hello, I am a retired Austrian chefWildflower Bakery is a MUST stop for all who are looking for exceptional great food and baked goods, old world athmosphere and very friendly and polite staff. I highly recommend to all European tourists -on the way to Tofino- to take the extra mile to stock up with their sourdough bread. You will not regret and you wont find anything like this anywhere on Vancouver Island.

Damn good. Came for the coffee and baking, which are great. But I would drive to Port Alberni monthly just to order the fried chicken sandwich, which was the best I have had in my entire life. Sit inside or outside on the patio and enjoy. This place is a real gem!

Stopped here on our way to Tofino. What a sweet cafe/ bakery I love finding great small businesses in rural communities. We had coffee, matcha latte w/ oat milk, brisket biscuit, and a slice of vegan pizza — everything was 10/10 delicious! Highly recommend visiting this little gem. ?Vegetarian options: Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options

Everything was amazing up to including the food, the staff, and the outdoor patio area that we ate at. By far the best French toast and the squash soup was delicious!

My wife and I had the pleasure of stopping by the Wildflower Cafe on our way to Tofino, and what a delightful experience it was! The owners, who are also chefs, greeted us with such warmth and politeness that we felt right at home. They shared their story of starting the cafe a few years back, and their passion for what they do was truly inspiring. While we didn’t get a chance to try the pastries, which looked absolutely delicious, the extensive kitchen space hinted at the endless culinary possibilities they could offer. The vibe of the place was just right – cozy and welcoming. It’s always a treat to connect with owners who love to share their journey. Can’t wait to return and sample more of what the Wildflower Cafe has to offer. Highly recommend a visit!

Excellent little bakeshop/cafe! Their baked goods are delicious and coffee is good. A bit on the expensive side for our little town, but I do still go as it feels worth it for a treat from time to time :)

Favourite coffee and pastry spot in town. The almond croissant is deliciously flakey and gooey at the same time. I have to hold myself back from going here too often. Dog-friendly patio Is a bonus.
