Charging $0.25 for paper bags on a take out order. They pointed to their policy that was all about single use plastics. I didnt have any plastics and the bag is paper so why charge? If I had an eat in order but then asked for a bag - sure charge that. But for take out, nah.
Every DQ location should be like this one! The service was great, the ice cream cake quality and decorating skill was amazing, the ice cream ratios in the cake were perfect, the store was clean and well stocked, and the ice cream cake taste was absolutely amazing. It’s like night and day compared to DQ cakes from other locations!
My sister bought me a cake to celebrate the launch of my dinosaur-themed book. She phoned to ask if DQ had any dinosaur cakes. The worker offered to make one, then LOOKED UP the book to copy the T-Rex on the cover for the cake! Absolutely incredible service, it really made my day.
