This used to be our go-to for great bakery and deli products. We went by last weekend and we are really disappointed. The quality of the deli meats has diminished, the Mortadella tasted like salt, the cervalat was really fatty - more than usual. All former staff were not there. A simple lemon layer cake was not worth $38.! Sadly we need to now find a new privately owned local deli and bakery.
Husband was so excited to go today and get some pastries as it's been a while since we had. We have been long time customers of this bakery, especially when it was under the previous ownership. He was a little disappointed that they didn't have his favourites but still came home with a box of treats. Most of them left us all underwhelmed and some even tasted like fridge. Went this afternoon, all excited and chose a bunch of different pastries to enjoy. Wife cut open one after dinner to discover mold on the top of the cake ball inside the white chocolate coating. Now having a difficult time enjoying anything else in the box for fear it’s also bad. We have a photo that unfortunately I can’t attach as proof.
