Complaint about Papa John’s Pizza at 3, 2541 Shaughnessy St Unit 3, Port Coquitlam, BC
Dear Papa John’s Customer Service,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your Papa John’s Pizza location at 3, 2541 Shaughnessy St Unit 3, Port Coquitlam, BC. I purchased two pizzas, but my son found them to be inedible—overly salty and excessively spicy, making them unpleasant to eat.
I waited 30 minutes to speak with the manager, who introduced himself as Pawan. Unfortunately, the interaction was highly unprofessional. Pawan refused to issue a refund or provide a receipt until I gave him my name and phone number, which felt intrusive and unnecessary. Furthermore, he was openly rude during our conversation. If there are security cameras at the location, I urge you to review the footage of this interaction with a customer.
Ultimately, I received a refund for only one pizza, and they refused to refund the second. I left the second pizza on the order table, as it was truly inedible, and I encourage the staff to try it themselves to understand the issue.
This experience was extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise against purchasing pizza from this location. I request a formal apology and a resolution to this matter.

Honestly what a scam. A simple misorder turned into took the customer money and no food. When uber tried to help, the manager was even trying to lie about it. Good thing there is recording for it.

Gave this place a try and ordered peperoni pizza. It was dry and didn't have much taste. May have been stale. Will not be ordering here again.

The pizza we ordered today was horrible. We decided to give this place another try and it was even worse then the last time. Will never buy from here again.

I never give 1 star but this place deserves it. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and once I took a bite it was so hard and warm-cold the pizza was definitely not fresh. Not worth it at all

Gave this place one last try and was disappointed. Epic garlic parmesan stuffed crust was dry and hardly seasoned, breadsticks were tiny and tough. I paid almost $50, and definitely feel like I didnt get what I paid for. Seems like theyre cutting corners and skimping on toppings to cut costs. Dont know if Id bother trying them for a 3rd disappointing order.

The quest continues

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The steak had a bad smell, and for the toppings, they were supposed to add mushrooms, but there were only one or two slices. The garlic sauce was more like melted butter and overly greasy. The ingredients were minimal and of very poor quality. I would never recommend this place.

I really like how they cook. I am always satisfied. Fast and tasty.

I got a butter chicken pizza. There are huge pieces of onion and green peppers that are not even cooked properly. The butter chicken sauce seems to be old and a bit bitter.

Today I ordered a half and half XL sized pizza. I was disappointed with the amount of over used tomatoe sauce. Normally the sauce amount is fine as I'm a regular here. With new ownership recently perhaps it was a one time error with the XL size pizza and inexperience. Friendly staff and good deals happening currently.

I ordered a pizza that was mostly tomato sauce and a chicken that tasted really bad

They have horrible customer service , their prices are higher than what they advertise for the same item, Ipaid online, and I paid a generous tip, and when it didn't arrived I called to know why it is not delivered, I was told I need to pay extra for delivery, I asked why I was asked for a tip then which their answer was that is how it is and we will neither give your money back nor your tip. I don't care about the money but this is not the way to treat customers.

I walked in and ordered a large 4- topping pizza- it was a walk in special.
I asked for extra cheese, pepperoni and bacon (I asked for only 3 toppings instead of 4).
There was next to no cheese on the pizza, very few pepperoni, and no bacon that I could see or taste.
I thought there would be leftovers as it was for just 2 of us, but someone ate 5 pieces and was still hungry.
I don’t think I’ll be back.

Okay pizza for a quick family dinner or drinks with the guys. My wife likes the pizza here and orders quite often. She spends a fair amount of dough here(no pun intended) but last time I was there picking up our $80 order which was paid for on line. I asked for some dried chili flakes, the person went to the register and charges me. This is usually free at every pizza place. Especially being a loyal customer, how petty, were now looking for a new pizza place. They got there couple extra bucks for chili flakes, but will lose thousands in revenue from us. Lots of kids Birthdays coming up and back yard gatherings.?
