Best Chinese food, BUT I heard it's closing for renovation and opening with new owners

The food is unpalatable, too oily, of low quality, the tableware is worn out, and the hygienic condition is worrying; the service is almost non-existent; but when your tip does not meet the expectations of the restaurant owner (cashier), he will deliberately show you off on the spot? ??

No. 1 was the unpalatable fried rice noodles. The rice noodles used were wrong, too much oil was added, the rice noodles were dry and hard, and the beef was very poor.

It was crowded even though it was past noon.I wonder if it's popular? It was delicious, but I got angry with the staff at the restaurant.I brought it by mistake, but they told me I had put chopsticks on it and tried to take my money.I refused because I didn't need it, but he was arrogant.

Always good speedy service! Great prices for portion wise. Be sure to try the shrimp and chive dumplings and their sticky rice, rice rolls and the most important, fried shrimp and garlic spring

Had dim sum there. One shu mai was raw inside. Server took it back to resteam it. Then brought it out later. I saw my bite mark still on the now cooked one. Gross.

Reading some of the reviews, it's clear to see when you arrive that if you're not a regular you are relegated to 2nd, even 3rd rate service. We tried Rainbow Butterfly to explore alternatives to our favourite DimSum joint, Westview Oriental, and first looked to the reviews before making reservations. Most comments suggest the food is good, but service is questionable. They're accurate. The food was good, missing a few favorites from the menu but we each agreed the food was fresh, hot (from being prepared), and tasty. But seeing people arrive after us, we were a group of 5, being catered to first, water, drinks, food, sauces and questions was quite embarassing. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come even remotely close to our table and then a few of us had to wave our arms. It's a shame that the poor service impacted our expereince, otherwise the ratings would be higher. If you go, make sure you act loud and continue to grab their attention, it's the only thing that seemed to help.

Was craving dim sum and came here because of the reviews.I think if you know what good dim sum tastes like — this ain’t it haha. The chicken feet had this weird taste to it, as if it’s gone bad before steaming.Deep Fried balls were very oily and the meat inside isn’t flavorful.Rice rolls, the wrapper was very thick and the meat inside was not fresh tasting either.Eating this did not satisfy my cravings at all and I wish I went somewhere else — but at least I tried it!
