I ordered the seafood linguine mostly because I wanted smoked salmon and they served it to me without the smoked salmon. When I pointed it out, I had to physically show that it was missing. The server said the kitchen said nothing to her and when she came back that they were out of smoked salmon. The dish without it was bland and flavourless. They charged us for the dish even though I said it was not what I wanted. The atmosphere was noisy and it took forever to get our bill. The others in my party were told they were out of something so they could change their order but I was not. It was upsetting.

We had a great meal here! I enjoyed the maple bacon bison burger, and my partner enjoyed the brisket on toast. We were surprised by the generous portions of fries which were tasty as was the side of gravy. Our Caesars were also made to perfection.
Service was fast, attentive, and very friendly! Sean made our experience very enjoyable. Thanks! We'll be back next time we are visiting, for sure.

We visited on a Tuesday night, it was not busy at all. After we seated, we have been waited for ~20mins to be served……. Even we made eye contact with the waitress, they still ignored us…… And after we ordered food, we have waited for more than 45mins for the food to arrived. The environment is fine and the food is normal, but the service is unacceptable!

We stayed 6 nights in Port Hardy during the second half of July, and we liked this place so much that we ate here 3 nights. We tried different dishes each night and all were good (I had the blackberry salmon, halibut and chips, and shrimp and grits). Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful, but there was occasionally a disconnect with being seated and getting menus. Be sure to ask about specials.

Was looking some good pub food, took 15 minutes to get a beer. Food took 1.5 hours. Ordered the brisket sandwich, the only thing good was the fries. Poor service and poor food. The other 5 people at our table were also not satisfied with any part of the meal.

Visited here Monday evening after reading great reviews. It was busy, and we understood it would take a while, that was ok…..but we waited more than 1/2 hour to be seated in spite of some empty tables. Our waitress was lovely, took our order and brought our drinks in a reasonable time. But the wait for our dinner was crazy, about an hour or more. The food seemed to be coming out sporadically, some tables receiving only some of their food, the rest coming later. People that were seated after us got their order first and some seated before us were still waiting. Crazy! Never had such an experience before. We were ready to walk out when the food finally showed up. Felt sorry for the waitress. Utter chaos. My ‘chowder’ was lousy, not fishy, seemed watered down and lukewarm. We definitely would not recommend this pub. Totally disorganized and food not worth the wait. My 1 star is for the waitress. She did her best.

The service at this restaurant was really poor. Our server (believe her name is Maya) barely acknowledged us, took way too long to take our order, and seemed completely uninterested in helping. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water refills, and when our order came out wrong, there was no apology or effort to fix it. It felt like we were being ignored the whole time. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.
