The food left us satisfied, nothing special though. Not bad portions. Wish there was little bit more variety. Service was a bit rude, not very friendly. Very flat and dry personality. Stunningly beautiful setting, right by the water, nice open patio. Absolutely gorgeous area. Wish the service matched the scenery.

Delicious food, had the smash burger (it was a generous portion). The fries were awesome, I actually finished every crispy bit. Perfectly salted, warm and soft on the inside and crispy outside. Wife had the pulled pork tacos, she loved them. With beer from a local brewery and a veiw to kill for while eating. Can't ask for more.

Such fresh, yummy food! And right on the bay. I loved having vege food options, that were also super yummy ? I had the vege burger and vege poutine.

Awesome Burgers.Staying at the resort, popped by for a burger. Take out, as raining. But the place has a cute outdoor seating area. Great vibe. Great service. Great food. My Aloha burger was really good. Fresh pineapple grilled to perfection.

You can’t do any better anywhere on a warm sunny day, great food, cold beer and a view that rivals any. The food here is quality in every way, fresh, quality meat (burger) and extremely fresh fish (tacos). The worst thing about this place is I live so far away, this would be my go to diner if I lived anywhere near Port McNeill.

5/5 Delicious food, Amazing atmosphere, respectable prices!!!! My favorite was the Baja Fish Taco and the Smash Burger w/fries. The margaritas were the best I have ever had in a restaurant…super ?

Location, sunset, cleanliness, on-site delectable food, this place touches all the bases. We chose a rustic beachside site and (almost) felt like we had the place to ourselves. Kudos to the team operating Alder Bay. It’s a tough gig and they do a terrific job.

Quite literally the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share. 10/10.
