Such a gem!!! Everything is fresh and made with quality products. The strawberry roll cake is delicious, fresh ingredients and very tasty, one of my new favourites. But for me the crown goes to the original pudding, so yummy! Staff is very friendly and welcoming 😊

I had a terrific visit to Cake ya today (as always). They had so many wonderful items that I wish I could have gotten one of each. I got 2 cakes and 3 new delicious puddings I had never had before. Great desserts and terrific people make this a great place to come back to. The best dessert shop anywhere.

Tiny Japanese bakery specializing in roll cake, cheese cake and pudding. Tried chestnut roll cake and no bake cheese cake (レアチーズケーキ) and they were both good.
My favorite is still their pudding specifically the original plain kind. It can be bought at Asian grocers such as Fujiya, Konbini, and Hmart. It is very smooth with good custard flavour.

They made a green tea & red bean birthday cake for us so quickly!
I have ordered cakes from CakeYa many times. I have always enjoyed their roll cakes. However, the quality of the strawberry birthday cake has declined. There were hardly any strawberries inside — all I ate were thick layers of cream. It was definitely a disappointment this time.

Nice little Japanese bakery. Got a chestnut roll cake to go. The cake was great but it's quite pricey - around $16. The cake was soft and the chestnut was good. It's good to have a try but it's unlikely that we would go back often.
