Ah! It used to be so hard to find good bread in Metro Vancouver. The bakers at Cascadia have mastered the art. They use organic flour. I feel like I’m nourishing my body when eating it, unlike the crap they sell at grocery stores. Just like how it’s supposed to be.
Excellent Excellent Excellent …. my highest rating for EXACTLY what I look for when cycling the city …. awesome personable service ….met the owner …laughed about baking ….very high quality standards on food and coffee . This is as good as it gets. Owners should be very proud of this neighbourhood bakery and coffee shop . Baking right in the store so all fresh . Italian coffee machine .
Best bread ever (locally). Specializes (on the bread front) in tradition farmhouse style loaves. All are excellent. They also have all the usual suspects (baguettes etc) and baked treats that are amazing.
Only knock against them is that they tend to sell out fast and forget about calling them to check for availability. No answer on multiple occasions. When you’re in the shop, staff are as good as gold and very helpful. Very limited seating for eat in diners.
