Great little out of the way spot on the marina. The shrimp was very fresh and the fish and chips were excellent 👌. Reasonably priced and worth the trip. Make sure you make a reservation as seating is intimate and sparse.

We had such an unexpected dinner here with the most crispy not greasy fish and chips! The portion was good that I took leftover home and reheated it in the airfryer and it was just as delicious! The peri peri mussels were delicious and homemade tartar sauce was another level! Plus their patio is furbaby friendly all year round!

I have always loved Float30, until my latest experience. My mom emailed to make a reservation for Sunday, August 10, requesting a table outside undercover as we were visiting with a newborn in a stroller and it was going to be a hot day. We received an email confirmation that a table was reserved. When we arrived, the undercover patio was full and our reservation was in the sun! At no point did they think to contact us to tell us they couldn’t honour our reservation. (I had also called that morning to let them know we’d be a few minutes late). We were told we could wait 30 minutes (in the sun in 32 degree heat) for an undercover seat or sit in the sun. Total lack of common sense when a baby should take priority for shade, especially when a request was made and confirmed. A complete waste of our morning. We sent an email the following day to make a complaint, and they are yet to reply. Hence the google review. It’s a real shame as we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and have always loved Float30 but this has left a sour taste in my mouth.

First time at Float 30. Wanted to sit on the patio, but told we'd have to sit inside. I had excellent fish and chips. Hot and freshly cooked. My husband had a burger which he enjoyed. Really good service.

The first thing I noticed was the sign that said weekends paid parking. The parking is excruciatingly expensive. If you pay via the app it's even more expensive. If you pay at the physical stall it is $5/hour but with fees and tax is it $6.51/hour.
I came here with high expectation especially from the number of recommendation. I was quite disappointed. It is good fish and chips but many other places make it just as good. The fries were mediocre. The soup was not good. It was so watery. For $17, that chowder is not worth it.
The service was minimal. It was a hot day and they only came once to top up with water. Waitress did not seem particularly fond of her job.

Food was incredible. Highly recommend the fish and chips here, also dog friendly patio was great. Only downside is that it was in the middle of a parking lot to a yacht club, view of cars and pavement even though it’s right near the water. Small place too a little claustrophobic even on the patio. Hidden gem for delicious fish and chips though

Amazing food. Good prices. Good patio. Good view. Good drink. Eveything was super good here. I enjoyed a lot. I ate regular fish and chips. One of the best in town. Also burgers are super tasty and jucy. Fries are crispy loved that. I got Caesar. Pickle choice should be better I couldn't eat that but taste of drink was overall super good. Service was good too. Also I loved to pay with qr code on the bill. We didn’t have to wait. So quick and easy. I will come back.

I was quite disappointed at the seafood boil. The sauce was very watery and under seasoned. The fish and sausages were overcooked so they were very rubbery. It seems like a one-off as the other photos I’ve seen of this dish look very good. I hope it’s just a one-off by the kitchen staff.
The steelhead and chips were very good though! The fish was buttery soft and well seasoned. The batter wasn’t excessive and it was nice and golden.
