The food at Kurumba is delicious. I like their fried whole fish, rendang, and hor fun. There’s ample parking, the staff are friendly and best to reserve during busy meal times. It’s a must try if you are in that area.

I visited this place today with my fam after living two years in BC, desperate to find a restaurant that offers authentic Sri Lankan Kottu and other Sri Lankan dishes. I regret not knowing about this place before. Superb food, brought back nostalgic memories. Friendly owner, great customer service, overall we loved the experience.

I went there for my fav seafood hor fun and chicken green curry but the hor fun had clumps of clear starch in it and the green curry was a bit too watery in consistency and was not rich enough. Portion for green curry was too small, considering I’m a petite woman. Could be and I wanted it to be better!

Wow wow wow! The food are delicious. They also provide various spicy dish which are unique and contain various spice taste. Dry curry, nasi goreng, char kwe tiauw are some amazing dish we tried. Definitely will be back

Do not ever charge a gratuity without customer permission.

That is theft. You want to pay your staff more? Increase your prices. Ripping customers off with a gratuity is deceptive and unethical.

First try of Sri Lankan food - worth of try! It was yummy, authentic and spicy(oh yeah, some of dishes were HOT! The staff warned us in advance though and there are variety of other non-spicy choices as well)
