Finally got a chance to check out their Asian cuisine and was really impressed with the quick service and delicious dishes. Started with chicken wings and roti. When I asked for an alternate dipping sauce for the roti, I was offered a side of dahl which was delicious! We also had the chicken wings, Sri Lankan noodles with chicken, and the Mongolian beef on crispy noodles. Plan to share the entree with 2-3 others as the portions are very generous. Take out containers were offered...
I'm so grateful that this place is a pillar of my neighborhood. The Sri Lankan style curries will properly burn. None of the recipes cater to a Western palate and this is why I love this place.
I was surprised to compare the last time I ate at this restaurant 8 years ago. Today the food was very tasty, and the waiter was nice. Seems like there must be different cooks and ownership. I will go there often. Why KURUMBA instead of an Asian Cuisine eatery?
