Most over priced and underwhelming sanwchich I have had in a long time. This lackluster turkey sandwich cost me over $20. Do better. Very thin, mediocre minimal turkey, hardly any brie and un dressed spinache. At least the bread was good, or I would have taken one bite and left. Not worth $10 with a tip. Won't be going back.

Is place is a brilliant idea! Very clean and a great place to bring the kids.
This is a great place for families! The play area for lis clean and well-maintained. I think it's best suited for kids under 2 due to the limited space and toy selection, and keep things safe for other children. The service is friendly and welcoming. While the food and drinks didn’t meet my expectations, we mainly came for the kids. We spent $36 on two drinks and one kids' meal, plus a baby play spot. It would be nicer if they open until night time

Great food and drinks! It was a quiet monday morning and I went into to grab a coffee and scone, kimmiya( hopefully i was close with my spelling) greeted me, asked how I was and was very open into hearing how my day was going! I Told her its been once of those days and she without a doubt or hesitation listened to me rant. I must say shes an amazing listener and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed with my food when I left!Thank you kimmiya! Keep up the good work?

Nice idea and had a decent cappuccino, but parents/caregivers should do a better job at cleaning up the toys their children have used. When we arrived the place was in total disarray, of course it is for toddlers, but my son found it hard to find something to engage with as everything was all over the place.. I don't think it is the workers responsibility to pick up and put away after children, the floors and place itself were clean but the toys were a disaster and a but to chaotic to enjoy. A $6 drop in + the likelihood of having a drink, meal or snack is quite high since somewhere like Park yxe is a $11 drop in, much more orderly and somewhere you can easily spend a couple of hours.
Nice overall atmosphere and concept. However, be prepared to pay full price even if you arrive just 40 minutes before closing, as we did. In the end, it was only 30 minutes, as they turned off the music early. Also, the drink I had was a bit too sweet for my taste.

Unsafe for smaller kids! I came here with my 15 month old twins because I thought it would be a fun activity for them to do on a rainy day. It seemed great at first and most of the kids were their age. Some of them were just barely walking and some were crawling. But there were two kids that were older (around 5 or 6), with no parental supervision. Their parents were having lunch in the café and had left their kids to play completely unsupervised. These kids were throwing the toys around, climbing up onto the windowsill and jumping down, and literally running over the little kids. They knocked my kids over on two occasions and I watched them knock other kids over repeatedly as well. The staff didn’t care, and their parents were nowhere to be found. I felt completely unsafe and ended up leaving after only 45 minutes. It would be nice if they had staff supervision or it was required that parents supervise their children while playing!

Great concept where you can sit and eat with your kids or play with them in the play area. They have a pretty neat and large jungle gym area. Lots of other toys as well. There were a lot of toys with missing pieces or some not operating like they should have but the kids still like playing with them.
Food is simple but very good. They also have good smoothies. Would recommend the waffle.
The one complaint about this place is it's pretty expensive for both entry and for the food. There's an entry fee for the play gym.

Had a private room birthday party for my son.
They changed it so that you can’t play with any of the toys upstairs anymore. You just get the room and that’s it. It is a nice facility. But some older reviews say you can play with toys this is NOT the case anymore. It was my fault for expecting toys being available. But as the kids can’t play in the playground some toddlers got bored with nothing to play with in the room as we ate. Having some toys set aside for party use and not daycare use would be good.
The food was very disappointing. You’re not allowed to bring outdoor food in so can only eat what is provided. They only have pizzas, grilled cheese, and quesadillas as options. Nothing available for ppl with gluten or lactose restrictions.
The way it is described on the website is not clear. I thought it would be enough food for kids and adults. When I called in describing who will be coming (10 kids and 11 adults) the staff said the 4 pizzas and fruit and veggie tray will be more than enough to feed all who is coming. It isn’t a fruit and veggie TRAY. It’s a fruit and veggie plate. On the fruit “tray” it is one green apple. A couple strawberries. And a couple slices of melon cut up baby led weaning size. To even feed 10 kids it would have been a stretch, let alone parents included.
The veggie “tray” is the equivalent of 3-4 celery stalks, a couple carrots, and one yellow pepper cut up.
Essentially do not have the expectation of grocery store trays or any other tray. It’s a small plate. Adjust your expectations and maybe you won’t be disappointed like us.
The pizza is not large nor very good quality. It is a thin crust on premade crust. When the website says a large pizza, keep in mind it’s a thin cracker like crust.
The grilled cheese which is 25$ for the plate is your basic grocery store sliced bread. Not good quality for 25$.
I had to add extra food as we were eating as I told my guests I would provide lunch but I realized it wasn’t enough food to feed everyone. Even though I called to confirm with the cafe ahead of time that it will be enough. Which is an awkward situation for a host of a party. I felt bad for telling people I would provide lunch only to not be able to have enough food. But my guests understood it was the cafe’s problem. When I told my guests these were the large pizzas more than one parent said “I’m pretty sure they got your order wrong” because of how small the pizzas were. Others said “you should talk to them because this can’t be the large pizza.” Another said “I suppose this is a large pizza… for a toddler”
Perks are: room is nice and clean. Staff were VERY friendly and kind. Coffee urn ($18) was good. Brought in ice cream cake from Rocky point icecream which they stored in their freezer for us. Because I hosted my party during the summer, the playground was not busy on the Saturday we had it. It was only the toddlers/babies at our party plus a few other kids which was a relief. I was worried it would be busy
Edit: manager called to apologize and offer a gift card which I appreciate. Still not enough to make a satisfactory experience but the customer service is still a highlight for me for this place.

My 5 year old and my 2 year old love it here, we have been coming to play for over a year and they have always had a nice experience. I finally decided to try the drop in daycare and we are very happy with it. It’s not cheap but it’s great to have the option of leaving your kids in a safe space, with the webcam to give you some peace of mind. Caregivers are very sweet, all of the staff has been wonderful. I highly recommend this place :)
Overpriced food and drinks, that is just doesn’t taste good at all.

It was our first time going for my 4 year old and 21 month old. We enjoyed the green smoothie, mocha, and mini donut.
I liked how spacious the play area was and how it was suitable for children of all ages (crawlers and kids up to 6 years old). However, I noticed that the older boys (at least 5 years old) were playing more roughly together. They were throwing wooden toys, mats, and foam climbing blocks down the larger slide, which can pose as a hazard if the smaller babies got hit with them. They even took the folded ikea gym mat (that was under the large slide) and slid that one down too. I had to stop them from doing it again because the mat was more of a landing pad and without it, kids could get scratched up when they landed on the ground.
There was an incident with one of the older daycare boys at around 2 pm. He was wildly climbing on the wooden ladder to the larger slide. My 4 year old daughter was actually there first and was reaching the top to go down the slide. The boy rambunctiously climbs over my daughter’s body and slides down the slide first. I could hear my daughter’s frantic cries and I had to talk to one of the teachers that witnessed the incident to talk with the boy.
I used to be an ECE myself, so I’m not a stranger to approaching other kids. The teacher told the boy to apologize to my daughter and to check if she was ok. Afterwards the teacher took him back to the daycare upstairs while the rest of his daycare group played downstairs.
My daughter was deeply upset over the whole ordeal. Because from a young age, we have taught her to wait for her turn and to play nicely with others. She really enjoyed going down the larger slide and felt distraught when other kids weren’t waiting for their turns. I know older kids play differently but to see her practically getting trampled by the older boy is not ok.
Other than that, I liked the cafe. It’s easy to spend 2 hours there compared to other cafes like ‘circus play cafe’ (Vancouver) and ‘rainbow play cafe’ (new Westminster). The staff were friendly and the place was fairly clean and well taken care of.
If our family is in the area again, we would definitely visit on another rainy day.
Kid-friendliness: Some kids played well but the older kids were playing too roughly. They were throwing wooden toys, mats, and foam blocks down the larger tube slide. This can damage property and hurt younger children
