If there were an option to give zero stars, I would definitely choose that. The chicken pesto pizza smelled and tasted awful — it was not fresh at all. When I informed the server, she simply replied, “Everything looked and tasted good on my end,” which was very disappointing. Would NOT recommend at all.

It doesn’t get much better than Mama Said for pizza around here. Top quality ingredients and an amazing crust. Simple pies and more fancy options on the menu but everything they serve is amazing. It’s smaller so eating in can be a little tight but it’s worth it. Go there now.

I personally am a huge fan of pizzas and generally can’t have it because a lot of pizza place will have cheese or a cream sauce on the pizza. I got excited when I saw that this place had vegan substitutions available. I tried the greenhouse pizza with vegan cheese and it was delicious!

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. We visited the Mama Said food truck in Rocky Point, Port Moody, and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
The pizza we received was extremely small, dry, and lacked flavor. For nearly $16, it felt like a complete rip-off. It was hard to eat and barely had any resemblance to what you'd expect from a decent pepperoni pizza.
The edges of the pizza were not crunchy at all — instead, they were burnt and blackened, making it even more unpleasant to eat. It seemed like they just threw some toppings on a thin, overcooked crust and handed it over without much care.
This was not what we expected at all, and we felt quite let down. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Not only is the food superb, but the management are attentive. We had one dine in experience, pizza's were taking slightly longer than typical, manager spotted the delay, came over to apologize and made sure we left very satisfied! We hadn't complained we weren't in any rush, but he was attentive to his guests and made sure that we did not feel forgotten. That is the trademark of a great restaurant

I was really hoping for a better experience, but the pizza left a lot to be desired. The flavor was extremely basic — nothing stood out, and it lacked the depth or balance you’d expect from even a simple pizza. The dough was a strange combination: paper-thin but still oddly doughy and undercooked in parts. Lifting a slice was nearly impossible without using both hands, as the whole thing just flopped over — not ideal when you’re trying to enjoy a casual meal. It made eating feel awkward and messy.
On the plus side, the online ordering system was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the convenience didn’t make up for the disappointing quality of the food.
