Moody Ales & Co is a cozy brewery with a small bar food menu that offers a great atmosphere for gatherings. The lavender sour beer is a must-try, though some find it too sour, preferring options like the East Coast IPA instead. The patio seating is probably the best around, featuring large tables perfect for enjoying drinks and food. The brewery offers a variety of sour beers such as lime marg, white sangria, guava, and pineapple coconut, providing choices for different tastes and including some interesting options to try. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they are dog-friendly too. Visitors can park conveniently around the back. Recently, the brewery hosted a large birthday party for 40 guests in a private section without a reservation fee, making it a good spot for events. The food is considered just okay, especially after some menu changes, with favorites like the Nachos and quesadillas being highly recommended. The overall atmosphere remains casual and fun, though some guests mention that the new chairs may be uncomfortable for those with wider hips. Guests also enjoy visiting other breweries nearby, making Moody Ales & Co a lively place for both relaxing and celebrating.
