Absolute BEST AUTHENTIC German pretzels and food you can get in the city!!! Owner is fabulous, super easy to talk to and easily coordinated our catered event. The food was the highlight of the event, everyone was raving about it! 11/10 would recommend! And now available at whitecaps games?! Finally some good arena food worth buying!!!
Tried MunChi’s pretzels at the MLS game and instantly felt like I was back in Germany—the best I’ve had since visiting there. I even went back for seconds but they’d already sold out. The only “downside” is they’re so good they disappear too fast—bring more next time! On top of that, the staff was super friendly, which is impressive given how hectic it was inside BC Place.

As a German living abroad, it’s always been hard to find a proper Bretzel. Most places don’t quite get it right, but Munchi’s are by far the most authentic I’ve had outside of Germany — they really remind me of home. The dough has the right texture, the flavor is spot on, and you can tell they’re made with care. They also serve a variety of other German dishes, which are all tasty and worth trying.
