Delicious authentic and fresh food. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Service was excellent. I tried the bartenders choice margarita and was not disappointed. We will definitely come back!

We happened upon this place last summer and it just happened to be happy hour on Burrito Thursdays so it was a no brainer to check it out. We were pleased to discover it was, in fact, a very authentic and cozy little spot to take in delicious Mexican food and killer margaritas. We keep going back. Don’t mix up chalupas with churros, chalupas are not dessert! UPDATE: 4th visit in 8 months! Worth the trip out from Vancouver! Check this place out.

Alberto was great, good suggestion with the ceviche. I was able to speak Spanish for a brief second which is a rarity in poco. Thanks !

Great authentic food and wonderful margaritas

Food was delicious and the service was very attentive. The four of us were very impressed with both. In addition, the server was knowledgeable about the food served, how it was prepared, and allergens within which was very important to our table. We’ll definitely be back here again.

This place is so overrated. Made a reservation for 3 in the front room. Arrived and was told no space in the front room so was seated in the back. The table was a table for 2 with a 3rd chair. I faced a wall the entire time. 20 minutes in, the server told us she could move us to the front room, but in the time we got up and walked over, the host had seated someone else there. The main courses arrived before our starters. The drinks took forever. I gave this place a 2nd chance after a bad experience in 2021 when we had a table outside, was offered a drink at last call but had the lights turned off on us straight after so had to drink in the dark. We gave feedback to the restaurant via email and no one bothered to reply.
There are much better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Rip off. I like Mexican food and first thing in the table is chips and salsa. I was charged $11.00. Nobody charges for chips and salsa.i sat so long i counted to a minute before I would leave. What happened to caring about the customer? The personal encounter with the woman wearing a red scarf, I got my personality from a bouncer. . After a coke and carne sada and chips the bill was $50. How does one person spend $50 on a basic recipe and chips from the store?

Had a reservation for the main dining area for 7pm. Showed up at 7:04 and there was no table for us inside where we reserved or in the back room. They clearly had either forgotten or neglected our reservation. We opted to sit outside instead of waiting for a table. Which changed the vibe completely as actually sitting in the character home was a huge draw for me in coming, so that was disappointing. There was also no music or atmospheric additions outside, so I found it almost too quiet and intimate with tables around us due to lack of any noise privacy. The service was super slow, but they were kind and apologetic. Took me over 30 minutes to get my drink and the table beside us who arrived later seemed to get their food first, and they were a 6 person group when we were just 2. The food, however, was incredible.

Came in today and were seated on the patio. Water was brought out and then nothing for 15 min. No one came out to take our order so we went in. Apparently power went out but no one came out to let us know. When asked if we can place our order they said no cause they can’t put the order in the system. When asked if they can simply write down our order the girl at the bar said no cause they don’t have paper to write it down (?!?). Mind you there was a couple seating inside that arrived after us with drinks in hand. Anyways, probably a good thing after seeing their menu and prices.

I loved this space, especially the back deck with the heaters.

The menu sounded amazing, so I over looked the elevated prices.

The mole was prime, and the hot sauces were one of the best I've had. That said, I wish enchiladas had more textures and filling. The cake was a bit small and the strawberry was cut fancy in a way that made it hard to eat without using my fingers...

Next time I will try to choose something with more veggies.

Used to visit mainly cause of the service and atmosphere, and decent food. But, not sure if something changed recently, the new menu items are simply phenomenal. Mole was top notch. Strong recommend.

Tasty Mexican cuisine and consistent taste .

Vegetarian options: Burrito bowl with pabelano peppers spice level hot is a good option for vegetarian . Have ordered that consistently and never disappointed so far .
