The craft beer selection here is excellent, and the service is always friendly. The outdoor patio is a great space for social gatherings. They do allow food from nearby trucks, which is nice, but it can sometimes be a little inconvenient. It would be even better if they offered a few light snacks of their own—something simple and classic, like fresh German pretzels—to pair with the beer. Overall, still a great spot!

Good place with great beer, but quite hectic. You can buy any snack outside or grab something to bring in and sit inside — love it!

A pretty good spot. We sat in the dog park and it was great. Kids and dogs are welcome. The misters by the picnic tables was very refreshing . The japense lager was light and very refreshing . The hazy squirrel beer had a fruity taste that my dining companion enjoyed. The popcorn chicken and yam fries with the garlic aioli was very good as were the deep fried cheese curds. I like this brewery but almost all breweries are so dog friendly and yet YELLOW DOG is not. There is one table you can sit at. The “dog park” outside patio is not dog friendly. Sign says it’s because of Fraser Health but as a restaurant owner I know that is not true. Dogs are absolutely allowed on patios! I think a name change or a policy change is needed :)

Great selection of beer. Lovely place to bring your dog and play some card games.

My favourite place to go!! All the staff are always so welcoming, so friendly, and so fun!! It’s a great atmosphere and my friends go-to hangout spot. They have the best options for non beer drinkers too (try their margarita seltzer)

I love this place. Not only is the beer amazing, but also all the tasting room employees are extremely attentive. Brooke, Jackie, Kiera, Phil, Mack and others are so friendly and really care about the experience of each and every customer. I have seen so many customers come in with obscure wants and the staff always bend over backwards to meet their needs. I can honestly recommend Yellow Dog Brewery Port Moody to anyone who wants a great tasting beer served by great people who are always available for great conversation!

A bright and lively spot, Yellow Dog has a large taproom with outdoor sections in the front patio and large backyard.

We arrived mid-afternoon on a rainy Saturday and the brewery was almost completely full. Definitely a spot you’d want to hit early if you were looking for a table. The beers are pretty standard - lots of pales and IPAs, nothing super stand out.
