Coastal Kitchen Cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for families. The cafe provides a "little nook of games" to keep kids entertained while parents enjoy a delicious meal. Their pizza is highly praised, and breakfast options are also good. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, as demonstrated by their kindness in helping a stranded family with a gas emergency. This sweet place offers fresh baking and great coffee. Customers loved all the store items - shirts, cups, sweaters - really well curated, and super-cute trail souvenirs. The pesto chicken sandwich was phenomenal, and the optimism potatoes were loved. Great sandwiches and snacks are available, along with good coffee. The cafe has great coffee and tea selections. Yummy light fare for breakfast is offered, including breakfast sandwiches with local bacon that are so good. NANAIMO BARS are also a must-try. While some found lattes served warm, others enjoyed iced vanilla lattes, going back for a second because they were so good. Folks were delightful despite a super busy early morning service, and the playlist was fun.
