This must be the best Japanese restaurant in Powell River. The food is on point and noticeably fresh. They have cute little booths so you can eat as much as you want without anybody judging. Service is great too.

I can’t recommend because it’s literally never open. I’ve lived in the area for 3 years and have tried to eat here so many times and it’s never open. Tonight we arrived at 6:45pm (they close at 8pm according to their online info) and they told us we were closed. I won’t return.

I live in the city, and head out to powell river at least 2 times a month. Almost everytime I come here, unless I arrive later then expected! Food is good, and service is great as well! Stop in if you can! I’m sure the locals do!

We arrived late in the evening, about an hour before closing. The restaurant was full with a table just finishing up. The servers quickly cleared the table and invited us to our table. We were asked what we'd like to drink and we ordered the tea, which was delivered very quickly and hot. We ordered our meals, after about 10 minutes the miso soup was delivered and about 5 minutes later our main course was served. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. The servers are very pleasant and we love our experience eating here. The atmosphere is pleasant with mostly private tables. Thank you!Parking: More than enough spots here, shouldn't be a problem finding parkingWheelchair accessibility: Entrance and seating areas are wheelchair accessible. Arrangements can likely be made to easily have wheelchairs at the tables.

Awesome service at a super busy time. The line-up was out the door but I was served quickly and my food arrived fast. The server was also friendly and kind while I overheard her dealing with rude patrons. Good food.

Well the Prawn Sunomo was not prawns it was shrimp and tiny two itty bitty pieces. I took pictures. The Prawn tempura was not fresh. We are on the coast in prawn season and these were tasteless dry specimens. The tuna roll was like rice was suddenly worth the price of gold. California Roll was good. All in all an average amount of money for food that was surprisingly of poor quality.

I used to see Maria at mcdonalds through the drive thru and she was smiley and kind, it started my mornings in a good mood. Then I saw her amongst great staff at Minato's recently, an already incredible sushi restaurant and it made me want to come here even more. Of course, the waitresses and hostess are just as good. The food is amazing, fresh and clean so thanks to the cooks as well.

Has what I would call a "full" variety of Japanese food on their menu.Staff are very friendly, but this place is swamped on popular evenings so expect to take a little more time when ordering here on a Friday or Saturday.
