I live in the city, and head out to powell river at least 2 times a month. Almost everytime I come here, unless I arrive later then expected! Food is good, and service is great as well! Stop in if you can! I’m sure the locals do!
We arrived late in the evening, about an hour before closing. The restaurant was full with a table just finishing up. The servers quickly cleared the table and invited us to our table. We were asked what we'd like to drink and we ordered the tea, which was delivered very quickly and hot. We ordered our meals, after about 10 minutes the miso soup was delivered and about 5 minutes later our main course was served. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. This must be the best Japanese restaurant in Powell River. The food is on point and noticeably fresh. They have cute little booths so you can eat as much as you want without anybody judging. Service is great too.
