DLanos Family Restaurant

Tried the new gluten-free menu today and it was FANTASTIC!! We had the GF chicken fingers and potato rings and it was so nice to have a GF option. Service was awesome and the food was delicious! How lucky are we to have this option in PG!

I love the food at D'lano's. The menu features mostly old fashioned food, generous portions and decent flavor and seasoning, (although their mashed potatoes could use some milk and butter -- this is true everywhere). The ingredients are fresh and delicious. Their desserts are fabulous with an array of cheesecakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls and pastries. The coffee is supposed to be bottomless, but they only refill it once pet visit.

My only issue is with the servers. The one older lady is wonderful and I would not change anything about her. Of the other three on when I'm usually there, I often feel as if I am intruding on their day. There's one woman who seems to be fighting a sneer everytime she serves me. The look of distaste on her face is so strong I want to ask her what is it about me that offends her. I don't know, have never seen her except at this restaurant. The other two just see me as an imposition, it doesn't feel personal.
I usually tip well, at least I think 5.00 on a 20.00 bill is reasonable. So I don't know what their issue is. One day I went in at 2:30 waited 10 minutes to be seated then was told they were no longer serving as everything had been shut down.

I've been coming here for the past 40 years under the various names & and transitions, but this place has always been known as a breakfast restaurant. It has gone from excellent to ok and to pretty good. I've gone here for lunch and dinner but mainly come here for breakfast because that's what they do the best. Service is good and food is pretty good. Atmosphere is family and relaxed. Decent amount of meal options eggs benedict and waffles are some of my faves. Restraunt tends to be busier on weekends. Check it out and see what you think.

I love the food at this place. It’s always busy, but food still comes out relatively quickly. Eggs benedict are delicious, I have also tried the skillets which are very good. One of the best family breakfast spots in town! Good food at a good price.

We love D'Lanos! Already a friendly greeting. Great service. The food is good and with our large group, it was at our table pretty fast. Worth a visit.
