“We just finished a fantastic dinner with our family at the always fabulous Shogun restaurant. This was the first visit our two daughters (16 and almost 5 years old) have had, while my husband and I have been a couple times before. We were seated at our table quickly and service started right away with great food & drinks recommendations by our server Nitten. We were treated to a great show by our Teppenakki chef, Sang. Our food we ordered was cooked perfectly and the girls especially loved the performance. Thanks again, and we will all see you again!”

“On Wednesday, Nov.22, a group of 15 seniors dined for lunch at Moxies. The meal and all were great. On the way out I fell. My friend went back into the restaurant and asked for help getting me on my feet. Morgan and a young man that was helping at our table came out and helped me get on my feet. I want to thank them so much for going beyond what they had to do. They were so kind. Many, many thanks again.”

“We were seated in the main area of the restaurant which was not good for me as I have severe hearing loss. We asked if there was a quieter spot but none were available at that time. A couple minutes later a table came available in the corner and the waitress came and moved us. We are very appreciative for them accommodating us. The food was excellent, one of the better suppers I have had in a long time and I could communicate with my wife. The service was very good and we will be coming back very soon. Thank You”

The chorizo hash bowl and the fried chicken bennys are 🤌🏻 They also have a killer booze selection and great bartenders - they make the best long islands in town. Plus you’ll never have to listen to shrieking kids and babies here! 🙌🏻”

The building itself is beautiful, and has a neat history. The views are gorgeous year-round. Every single event I have gone to has been spectacular. When ever friends and family come from out of town Northern Lights is my FIRST suggestion. This is literally my favourite restaurant! The staff is amazing! I really appreciate all the hard work Erin and Jackson put in along with everyone else that works there! “We had a large reservation of roughly 30. The staff was organized and highly attentive to our whole group. Drinks came fast and food orders were taken promptly. Right in the middle of dinner the city had a short power outage. I can only imagine the chaos this caused in the kitchen. The staff made sure our drinks were full and we were having a good time while we waited. When the lights came back on, the food started coming quickly. It was hot and delicious which is not easy for such a large group, let alone during a power outage. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. Well done to the whole team, you made our night incredible!”

Tim Hortons is my go-to stop when I need coffee, a snack, and a little Canadian comfort. The coffee always hits the spot, especially when paired with a fresh donut or a breakfast sandwich. Sure, I tell myself I'm only stopping for a small coffee, but somehow a box of Timbits always follows me to the checkout. The staff are friendly, service is usually quick, and it's the perfect place to fuel up before work or a road trip. It's hard to beat a place where the coffee is hot, the donuts disappear faster than my willpower, and every visit feels like a classic Canadian tradition. I'd happily roll up for another cup anytime!”

“I visited Tim Hortons today and ordered a French Vanilla with steamed milk. Most of the time my order gets messed up, but this time IAN took my order and he was excellent. He listened carefully, prepared my drink exactly how I wanted, and was very friendly throughout. The coffee was perfect — the best I’ve had here. Great service and great communication from him. He deserves recognition for doing his job so well.”

“I visit this Tim Hortons fairly regularly and Harman is honestly one of the main reasons I keep coming back. He's always got a smile on his face, greets everyone so warmly, and the coffee is consistently on point. Never had a bad cup when he's been there. It's the little things like being treated patienly that make a difference and Harman does that every single time. Really appreciate him :)”

I've only ever ordered through the app and picked the food up through the drive thru so I wonder if that changes the circumstances and they prepare it freshly or what? It is just mcdonald's so we all know it's not the best quality and it's not healthy but every single time I've gotten food as I stated above from this particular restaurant it's as good as mcdonald's can be imo. “I believe this restaurant can be considered one of the top restaurants in Prince George. The quality of food in general was good. I liked that their onion rings were so crispy and fried with good quality oil, as you do not feel too much oil even after eating a lot of them. The gravy was also different in quality, and I really liked it. The quality of two different burgers was good compared to some other well-known burger places in town. I did not like the quality of the steak; the meat was not well seasoned, not moist enough, even though I ordered medium. The quality of the fries, which came as a side, was not good enough for a good quality restaurant (they were not crispy, not well seasoned, and it looked like they were not fresh, even though they tasted fresh). I would say I have had so many better steaks in town, and I would kindly ask them to make some changes. The atmosphere, mostly the open area side, and the music were good. The quality of the chairs was also good, and you do not get annoyed after a bit. For the dessert part, I would say the mint pieces placed on top of the strawberry shortcake were not fresh, which is expected!
In general, I would recommend trying this restaurant.”

“Stopped at Carl’s Jr. in Prince George and had a really solid meal. I ordered the Big Carl combo with a Coke and everything came out fresh and made to order. The burger tasted like it had just come off the grill, the toppings were fresh, and the bun was soft without being soggy. You could tell it wasn’t sitting around waiting to be served.
The fries were also fresh, hot, and nicely salted, which honestly makes a huge difference. The Coke was perfect too — super fizzy, ice cold, and exactly what you want with a burger and fries combo.
Overall the food quality felt a step above typical fast food, and the whole meal hit the spot. Staff were friendly, service was quick, and I’d definitely stop here again when I’m craving a good burger in Prince George.

We always order enough to take home and feed us for a couple days as it’s such a treat. The staff, including the cook whom we asked to meet were gracious and lovely. Only downfall was they kept their red wine in a fridge. Red wine should be cool or room temperature not cold! But, that’s a minor flaw… walked away happy!”

When I asked the waitress about it she said they were running it of chicken. I told her I wasn't happy about it. She offered fries? I still had to pay 16.99 for what wasn't much more than a chicken nugget. Very disappointing. The picture I'd what the menu said it should look like. not even close”
