Walking in, the first thing that hit me was how genuinely friendly the staff were. Like, actually smiling and happy to see you – a real treat these days! They got me seated right away and were super helpful with the menu.
Now, let's talk about the food. Holy moly, the portions are INSANE! I ordered a combo and when it came out, I swear my jaw dropped a little. It was a mountain of crispy, flavourful goodness. And the flavour? Spot on! Not too sweet, not too spicy, just perfect deliciousness.
I ended up taking half of it home, which is basically two meals for the price of one – can't argue with that! Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing, and the other tables seemed just as happy as we were.
Seriously, if you're in Prince George and craving some fantastic Chinese food with portions that could feed a small army, get yourself to Good Chef. The friendly staff and incredible, generous meals make it a total five-star experience in my book. You absolutely won't leave hungry (you'll probably need a nap!).

Went to good chef for the first time and got a salmon combo, I love fish and the price seemed good and fair for the amount both in the menu and in the picture- however the nigiri is razor thin, tastes old and a little well, it’s like the top and sides are dryer than the underside touching the rice, but far more than it should be. I also found a (maybe?)sesame seed under the salmon and some kind of grey bit? Like sticky fish skin in the rice ball. I don’t usually write reviews, the server who helped me was very nice, but this was terrible sushi that I just couldn’t finish.

Can't believe I haven't written a review yet. This is the only restaurant in town I trust implicitly. Their delivery times are superb, the crew is always good and kind and patient. I've never had any bad food and their boba is delicious! Wait times when you're sitting in can be a lil long but always worth it.

Called for a pick up order and couldn't understand what the woman said and the phone was left on the counter. I called back and I still could barely understand the woman. She started freaking out that it was busy and didn't want to take my order and wanted me to order online. At least I think thats what she said. Her English is terrible. I won't be going back if they are going to hire people that are rude and refuse to do their job because its busy.
