HAB97 Fried Chicken & Mexican Cantina

This evening I had the best fries and chicken I've ever tried. The dishes are delicious and my decisions to hop in before closing helped me to fix my mood. Service is amazing, the cook is professional and the Lady at the counter is so awesome. It's a lovely place❤️

The Mexifries are amazing and the chicken is great as well! It's all chill and friendly vibes here! Totally recommend this place!

Very disappointed... Chimichanga: 1 teaspoon of meat + 1/2 teaspoon of cheese + 10-15 tablespoon of rice... Carbs galore... maybe it should be called a rice filled burrito... flimsy paper plates and utensils... was unable to cut through the food. I know times are hard but you have to give customers the amount of food they payed for. Business is good when customers are happy.

Stopped in for lunch and it was excellent! Only thing is I wish they had the Mexican Cola in stock but still enjoyed the Strawberry Jarritos.

Used to be good. Door dash ordered was literally thrown in the box. Quesadilla only had meat on it. No veggies. Not even cheese. Missing items. Wouldn't order from here again. My first order ever was great, after that its been pretty trash

Great food and reasonable prices. My one and only complaint about this restaurant is that I ordered a large Mexi fries to go and the size was very small and I would not consider it anywhere near a large and for the $13 price I'd expect a lot more fries. Based on pictures others have posted I'd say there is a big inconsistency to the size they make.

Was not expecting this place to be so good! The fish tacos were done perfectly, and that is not always the case. The chicken was also super crispy outside and moist inside so big smiles all around!

Best Mexican food in town! Its almost like you feel like you're in Mexico with the music and the vibe. Friendly staff great service and amazing food! You get big portions and its all very fresh. It's become a regular thing for me and my man :)

Had the 3 piece chicken with poutine fries. First, i want to upgrade my fries they gave me another fries. It wasnt good at all. The chicken was dry and very salty, nothing special. I didn't try the Mexican menu but judging the menu its nothing new.

Love this place! We had the Taco Salad and it's the best I've ever had. Can't wait to try more meals on the menu. I also really like the music and the service was great! Check it out if you're a fan of Mexican food.

We loved it here! Great, flavourful Mexican dishes, the fried chicken is delicious with just a hint of heat, and reasonable prices. Everything you want for a meal out. We'll be back!

never ate there before so i decided to order a bunch from the menu to see whats it was all about. looks are deceiving with this menu. $15 for a burrito thats no bigger than a frozen costco burrito. the fried chicken came soggy and wet i had to put it in my toaster oven just to get some crisp out of it. the only good thing was the mexi fries. so first impressions were not good as they got my order wrong but they did make a new one so that was good. if you want overpriced small portions and soggy food then this is the place for you. I wont waste my money there again.

Very disappointed. Had my taste buds set for Mexican. Ordered a 12” burrito. Apparently 12” means the wrap is 12” so you get more folded up wrap, not a bigger burrito. Beef burrito? I could not find the beef. It was a wrap with 80% rice, 15% cabbage, and about a teaspoon of refried beans. Not much flavour and expensive. Sorry I think I’ve had it with Hab. Won’t be going back.

chicken was tender, cooked to the right temp and lightly spiced in other words perfect. the chimichanga was plentiful and virtually impossible to save some for later. The Smokey cheese dipping sauce is a perfect match for this chimichanga and did not overpower any of the other flavors a perfect symphony in my opinion.

Just discovered this place. The food is amazing. The portions are huuuuge. Save yourself the hurt and order the small options your first time just to get a feel. If I had a complaint, and I don't, it's that I would be willing to buy half the portions for half the price more often. If you are trying to watch your waistline, bring a friend and share.
