Cold steak, cold potato, cold onion rings. The butter wouldn't even melt on the steak or the potato. The only warm item wascthe coleslaw and that had no dressing on it. Just shredded veggies. Then 45 minutes later we had to hunt down our server to ask to order dessert. First time and last time going to Montana's.

If this is something you are interested in please go ahead and support this business, if not there are a plethora of restaurants ran by kind, humble people who genuinely care about the well-being of their staff.

Our first visit for supper here Izzy was a great server.. the food was good. The kitchen made a mistake with 1 of our orders. The guest was offered fries til it was fixed. Well we all ate.. the time she got her food again was 22 minutes after all the others ate. When it was brought to the managers attention she said I will discount the bill. As this guest filled up on fries, not her main dish, so she took it home. We got $4.62 off the bill of $130.00. I dont expect it all for free by all means. But we are from out of town , and I think $4.00 off is a not appropriate. I brought it up to Cecilia the manager and she shrugged it off saying they are busy.. and she told me she didn't care if I put in a review about it. Too busy to care. UPDATE Montanas reached out and sincerely apologized. Thank you.. its nice to know they care!

After looking at a few reviews, I noticed that others have noticed that the service is lacking. Our experience was no different. Seriously, management needs to start retraining their staff. I told my waitress that I was sending back my drink because it didn't taste right. No big deal. I was fine with paying for it. I turned around to see the bartender and my waitress laugh and roll their eyes at the fact I sent it back. Then our waitress didn't bring us our rib bucket with the wipes. It was just an uncomfortable mess, trying to wipe off ourselves and our kids with regular napkins. And she never checked on us during our meal. Completely unprofessional. Get a new bartender. She sucks at making drinks.

The decor and atmosphere of this place really adds to the whole experience. It’s so warm, cozy, and totally on brand to every last detail. They do a way better job at this than Mr. Mikes and the Keg. And their price point is half of those competitors!!
I think my favourite unique thing about this place is their corn bread. So yummy and has the perfect sweetness and outer crisp.
I’ve tried their steak dinner and their Mac and cheese. Only one time did I get a steak that was not my favourite quality (slightly overcooked and perhaps a bad cut). But I’m glad I gave them another try after that because they haven’t failed me since!

Atmosphere was good and on brand. Service brief, attentive and accurate, really good at the lunchtime bar seat I had. Cornbread excellent. BBQ sauce was hopelessly generic (Texas Bold, Texas please disavow this sauce) The star of the show was the ribs though. How you achieve boiled rib lack of any flavor with smoked burnt to a crisp texture, they really went out of their way to screw this one up.
Won't intentionally go back to this location or maybe even any Montana's

First of all let me say, our waiter was the best part of this experience; he was friendly, prompt and cordial. However, the food was horrendous. Like seriously. We ordered a 12oz steak with prawns, fries, lobster and coleslaw. All of the food was beyond bland. No seasoning or flavour whatsoever. Lobster was dry and shriveled, fries were tasteless, steak was actually cooked properly but was totally without flavor as well. I've never wanted to dump salt on anything more in my life. Literally, awful awful quality food for way too much money.
