North 54 restaurant & bar

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic evening! The new menu had lots of good options. We shared the buttermilk chicken strips for an appy and they were some of the best we've ever had. I would go back for happy hour just for those! For an entree I had the lamb rack which was cooked perfectly and a side salad instead of the veggies and potato. My husband had the Shrimp & Mussel tagliatelle pasta which was cooked well but lacked flavour. It wasn't bad, it just could've used something. He didn't get the garlic bread he ordered but we also forgot until we got home. For dessert we shared the Sticky toffee pudding and it was perfect! So warm and delish. Overall the experience was great. Service top notch. Will definitely go back.

Dylan was great. We had the Tomahawk steak for two which was delicious, a great presentation, and tremendous value.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience at North 54. The setting was lovely and our server Avery was great. She was friendly and prompt with everything. The meal we had was delectable! We had the Tomahawk steak meal for two that included vegetables, bacon jam, mashed potatoes and red wine au jus. The flavours were out of this world and we savored every bite. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sticky toffee pudding was the icing on the cake for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and a great evening out.

My daughter enjoyed an excellent pasta dish while I can strongly recommend the roast duck. We had a very pleasant dining experience.

I wasn't going to leave a review, because the meal was ok, but when thinking about the cost, I started to feel differently. First on the service. It was great. The two servers were excellent and were right on top of everything. The perfect amount of checking in and timely in everything we needed. Second, the food. Our starter, the Buttermilk fried chicken was bland and salty. At $19 it was terrible. I would have been upset spending $10 on it at a chain restaurant. My pasta dish (mussel and prawn tagliatelle) was just ok. The pasta was slightly overcooked, the flavour was bland. The mussels and prawns were near perfect however. My wife's steak was the star of the night, tender and flavourful and the bacon jam on the side was delicious, and at $49 for a 6oz tenderloin, it had better be! Dessert was a shared black forest cheesecake that, while tasty, was so sweet it was almost difficult to finish. LASTLY, the cost. For what was essentially a $150 dinner (before tip) for x1 appy, x2 beverages, x2 mains and a dessert, we left wishing we had chosen a different restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The default tip (the lowest) is 20% ... which added insult to injury. The servers earned it, but the food and the price did not. Conclusion. This is my third dinner experience in a row where I have left unhappy. I may try them again for lunch in the future, but not likely for dinner. Overall, the restaurant just kind of feels less than it was pre Covid, which seems to be a common problem...I could not imagine trying to juggle the complexities of running a restaurant, balancing food costs, skilled help and the rest.

The service and food were both outstanding. Avery, our server, was attentive, professional, and warm. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We happened to go on a day with all-day happy hour and ordered a couple things off that menu, which were a great value.

The lobster ravioli was amazing and it only got better with the cheesecake. Great experience

Parking right outside the restaurant. I didnt have trouble finding parking. The restaurant was pretty quiet when I entered and during my visit. There was probably 4 couples I there for our entire visit. Atmosphere is calm and inviting. I enjoyed sitting and chatting with my friend while we waited for the food and after dinner as we let the food settle. We ordered the tomato bruschetta to share and my main was the spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes were presented very well, very flavorful and fair portions for the sizes.

Decent food. Duck feature was quite bland, but the starters were good. Atmosphere is a bit awkward. Felt really bright and quiet. Not the place for a nice date night.

We had a wonderful evening at North54. Late birthday celebration. Food and service was perfect as usual.

My friend and I both enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks. Our server Avery was great and the service was excellent. They have an awesome beverage menu. Definitely going back soon!!

I had an incredible experience at North 54 recently and decided before I even started into my main that I’d be writing a review. Top notch service thanks to a very knowledgeable server and a menu that had something for everyone in our party of six at the end of a long work week.

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which was delish, but it was the appetizers that initially won me over. Best. Bruschetta. Ever. (And I was in Italy last summer!) The open kitchen was a nice addition to a great overall atmosphere. I’ll be back and I recommend you make a reservation if you’re in PG.

Our server was lovely. However food was mediocre and for 3 meals took 2 hours to come to us once ordered, and the environment was so loud that it was hard to hear each other.

Everything about this establishment was amazing! The food, could not have been any better! The service was some of the best that I have ever experienced. The ambiance and the atmosphere was perfect for our second anniversary dinner. I am terrible with names, but I would like to thank all of the staff for an excellent evening. If you have never been, you have to go! The term, "You get what you pay for.", is worth the 5 stars that I give.

I just want to say THANK YOU so much to all the staff at this restaurant. I had my intimate wedding ceremony and reception there, and I couldn’t have made a better choice!

The manager, Julia, is very accommodating and helpful; she had a vision about what we could do before I could think of anything. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate her help and insights.

The staff were also amazing. Great service, delicious food, and very helpful! They were always ensuring everything looked good, that my husband and I had food or drink, and that all the guests were happy.

Well, everyone was happy with everything! The ceremony was beautiful and everyone was impressed with the North 54 team!
