It was just so wonderful so professional. The food was great. The ambiance was amazing. Really really enjoyed it. Thank you for everything. Such great service.
5 Stars for North 54, a local restaurant in Prince George. It was amazing !!! We all loved our food ! Chef made my cousin who is Vegan a special dish that was not on menu and she was very very impressed! Which is not normal because normally she has troubles eating out.
The ambience is beautiful, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. It was also hands down the best service we have had dining out in PG in a while!
Highly recommend trying out North 54 if you have not already!

Disappointed with this place. I went with my husband for a nice date out…and did not have that. We were quickly seated and then quickly forgot about. Only saw our server when he brought us our first drinks- never any refills or asked about other drinks. Brought us our food 2 hours later after I asked at the 1.5 mark if our order had been put in. And then when he came with the bill. When my husband didn’t tip the waiter, the manager (maybe owner?) came out and asked how our visit was. I stated everything I wrote above and said we felt forgotten about. The manager stated that was because they had a party they were serving. As we were heading out the door the manager gave us 2 coupons for a free lunch. We went to give them another try 2 weeks later and they wouldn’t seat us because we had our daughter with us -2 years old. I asked if it was because they don’t allow children. The manager said they do but the one high chair was in use. I asked if we could come back later that day and he basically said don’t bother. I explained that we didn’t have a very good first start with them and would really like to use this coupon to give them another chance.. he just stared at me. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend this place as a date night place or somewhere to go for lunch if you have a child- that one chair might be in use!

North 54 – A Night to Remember
My partner and I celebrated our second anniversary with a dinner at North 54, an upscale dining spot we’d been for our 1st anniversary as well —and it did not disappoint.
From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone: warm lighting, elegant decor, and just the right touch of intimacy for a special occasion. The staff greeted us with a level of professionalism and warmth that instantly made us feel welcomed and cared for.
We began our meal with the calamari, which was nothing short of outstanding—crispy, tender, and paired with a tangy aioli that elevated every bite. It was the perfect start and left us excited for what was to come.
For mains, we ordered the pork belly pasta and the steak dinner. The pasta was beautifully prepared, with rich flavors and a silky sauce that showcased real culinary technique. However, it just didn’t quite suit our personal tastes. When we mentioned this casually to our server—not as a complaint, but more as feedback—what happened next truly impressed us.
Without hesitation, the server graciously acknowledged our thoughts and, to our surprise, offered a complimentary tiramisu to end the meal. It was a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes about the restaurant’s commitment to guest satisfaction. And let me say: the tiramisu was divine—creamy, balanced, and the perfect sweet note to close the evening.
As for the steak, it was cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, flavorful, and accompanied by seasonal vegetables that were clearly prepared with care.
North 54 made our anniversary not just a dinner, but a memorable experience. That kind of service is rare, and it left a lasting impression on us .
We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’ll save extra room for dessert.
Elegant, thoughtful, and delicious—North 54 is a gem worth returning to.

Firstrst off, let's talk about the vibe. This place is very classy. It's got a romantic ambience that makes you feel like you should be discussing international politics or the stock market, not just shoveling food into your face. It's the kind of place where you feel compelled to put a napkin in your lap.
But forget the ambiance for a second and let's get down to the real event: the food. Specifically, the special. I don't even remember what they called it—some kind of decadent, culinary monstrosity—but it was absolutely freaking amazing. And when I say amazing, I mean it felt like a direct, delicious assault on my cardiovascular system. This thing was super rich. I'm pretty sure I could feel my arteries gently requesting a time-out halfway through the meal, but I didn't care. It was the kind of dish that makes you briefly consider selling a non-essential organ just to afford another bite.
So, if you want a classy night out where the food is so good it's borderline medically irresponsible, you get yourself to The Twisted Cork. Go treat yourself, you magnificent glutton.

Butchered the Wagyu, not even sure if it was proper Wagyu but besides that everything was fine. No business paying 67 dollars for a grussle filled tough steak.
Absolutely amazing menu and delicious food

This was my 4th meal at North 54. As always, great service, good food and I've tried something different each time.
Service was slow, food was lukewarm when finally brought out. Not cooked to preference, flavours where overpowering and unhinged. My duck breast was overcooked and tiny portion, the accompaniment was all very sour tasting and not in a good way. It was not very complimenting at all. My partner's pasta came out roaring spicy to an uncomfortable degree. The theory is that the people preparing our food are all heavy smokers and their taste buds are completely fried. Do not see us coming here again. What a shame, because all the pieces are there, it's just the way that they are out together makes it look a jumbled mess.
