We had Valentines dinner last night at oakroom grill, was super busy but our server Tre made sure to always check on us and always was asking if we needed anything great service, good steak and good place to enjoy a meal thank you Tre and oakroom for helping us have a great night!

Was absolutely great food ordered the beef dip and I must say the steak was made just right the dish was absolutely amazing would have liked too see a little more sides but thats ok I will be returning to try more of the menu the service was great both host who was also our server was so kind and I do believe it was the manager just so very nice I do recommend this place

Music was too loud. Food was ok at best, mom's fries were cold, son's ceser salad was dry, had to track someone down to get pop refills. I am usually very forgiving, I left feeling disappointed. I think I would have gotten more money's worth if I would have went to The Keg.

Had a fabulous experience during our recent visit. Tre, our server, provided a phenomenal service despite still training. He consistently checked in on us and asked us if anything else is needed.Both food and drinks were great too. Definitely will come back 10/10 overall.

My husband and I went to the Oakroom this weekend for date night since so many hype it up and it wasn't a great experience.
We were greeted by the manager i believe. He was kind and attentive the whole time we were there to everyone who was there. The restaurant was clean as well. When we walked in and sat down I could hear the female manager talking to the cooks and her waitress who was training.(she did a fantastic job btw)
We watched her walk in and out while calling them names, saying "try again, don't be lazy, you did terrible and you are awful" to quote a few things we heard her say. She was being incredibly rude to them. She made fun of the new waitress behind her back while she was standing at the bar as well. Mind you the waitress was in the room and since there weren't very many people inside you could hear every conversation.
My husband and I both got burgers, the normal one was good but the patty kept falling apart and the chicken one was good also but had some strange components to it. I did not enjoy the sunflower seeds in it especially since it was supposed to be just coleslaw. The salad lacked flavor but the fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. I have talked to others who use to work there, and confirmed she is one of the managers and she most staff leave due to her behavior towards them.
I doubt we will go back, especially if she is on shift which is super disappointing because the other manager and the food aren't bad but I won't support a restaurant who treats their staff bad.

Food has been of consistently great quality since the place was opened, with some rotations in the menu keeping things fresh. Both dinner and brunch offerings have been delicious and inticing. Service is professional and attentive. Decor sets the place up as an attractive location for date nights, special family dinners, or even business meals. Looking forward to coming back in the new year!

Food was pretty good. Service was slow and they only had a few other tables in for dinner. Drinks took a long time. Staff seemed to be a little confused/distracted.
We had a great experience eating here. We flew in from the lower mainland to visit family. They were able to accommodate all 17 of us. All the food came out great & the staff/server were attentive & friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I had the hot honey chicken sandwich with fries, and it was amazing! Also ordered dry ribs and they were fantastic! But let's talk about the service... The dining room was relatively quiet, less than a quarter of the seating taken. Dispite this, our server not only took a very long time to come to our table, items were forgotten, drinks not punched in, and overall he seemed very distracted with something else. Unfortunately the table near us had a similar issue, and though it was a single lady at the table she did have to send her food back twice due to it being incorrect. Overall, the food is good, but our last few visits the service just isnt what it used to be.

Came here for lunch got the sloppiest burger I’ve ever had in my entire life. Music was blasting so loud I couldn’t even hear who I was sitting with at the table. Since when do chicken burgers have pumpkin seeds?
