I had noted that I was there for my moms birthday, i thought they would have acknowledged that in some way, but nothing was said nor did they offer for a dessert. Otherwise the food was great.

This was our first family meal at a restaurant since Covid. I have had a good experience at Original Joes before Covid in another city, so I wanted to have a great experience here in Prince George, but that didn’t happen. The food was marginal at best. It was bland, bland, bland. The croutons for the Caesar salad were the same ones they put on the french onion soup. That was a very bad decision. And the soup was as clear as veggie stock and tasted more bland. No rich beef stock flavour. And the server defended it, rather than trying to help. I sent it back and didn’t order anything else. The server was also not paying attention to the bill, so I was overcharged twice. She said “if you want me to fix it, I can.” Um, yes, you overcharged me. Why do I have to ask twice to have the bill fixed? So I got the first overcharge removed, and not the second one. I usually tip 20% as a standard, and more for great service. There’s been times I tip out the same amount as my bill. But this server got less than 10%, even though I was tempted to give her nothing. Needless to say, that will be our last meal at an Original Joe’s. Prices are too high to eat out as a family. I don’t need garbage food and terrible service. Very disappointing.

Overdone wings and I've been waiting for my server to come around for over 10min. IMO gone downhill in the last year. Sucks I have to consider bps a better place to go

I’ve been a few times and I’ve been impressed with each visit. I’ve had different selections from their menu. The quality was great each time and the portions are generous. All the staff are very nice and very welcoming.

It was hour before our meal got to the table, and then it was very cold, I complained to waitress she discounted my meal she said, after 20 minute wait for our bill it was incorrected, the double charged us for both meals they had corrected and then forgot to discount the one meal. Well never go back there again.

The atmosphere at Original Joe's is what one would experience in any restaurant/pub style restaurant. The interior showcases dark tables/walls and although large windows are surrounding the premises-the restaurant is still dark. The servers offer great suggestions and are always friendly. If I was to recommend a dish, it would be the Dragon Boat Lettuce wrap.

For what OJ's is, an unpretentious, Earls-esque, place that caters to everyone including families to couples to people wanting to watch sports, it is an easy 5/5.Food options are good and always consistent. Service is always good and consistent. Their prices have gone up considerably the past few years but what restaurant hasn't! Great College Heights neighborhood spot. Always recommended.

Food was a little longer, but that was because it was busy. My favorite staff, and pretty great food
Our service and server was terrible. Went 30 mins without a drink. Ate our whole meal without a drink and or being asked if it was good. The food was amazing though. Also my other half sent a drink back because it tasted like it went bad and we still had to pay for it.

Ordered takeout 4 times here. 2 stars because 2 of the 4 times we have ordered our order has been messed up by forgetting one or 2 things. When it happens they just give us a credit and that’s the end of it. When phoning in an order I feel like the person taking my order wants to get off the phone asap. The salad below is a west coast chopped salad. Only 2 bites had been taken. The avocado looks old, the salad is missing goat cheese and the requested chicken breast. The portion size is also smaller than you would think for a main course salad. I have a credit but not sure I’ll be back.

Waited an hour and half with still no sign of our food coming anytime soon. My 6 year old daughter was very hungry and no one came to update us or tell us there was a delay. Ordered my daughter a lemonade while we were waiting and the lemonade never came. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

Service was not good. Drinks left empty. Less than 10 tables in the Restaurant yet the servers all huddled together & laughed while we waited for service. 4 people ate. No liquor or soft drinks. Bill was $90z Tipping options only 18% or above. I tipped 18% only as I had no other option. Won't be going back anytime soon. Food was good but not $90 worth
