Great friendly service but a warning - the large pastries are so delicious that they will be extremely hard to portion-reduce and not consume in one sitting. We each had a massive "copehagener" pastry and the soft amandine filling (with spices?) and delicate almond slivers on top was pure heaven. It doesn't get any better than this in Prince George.
The selection of baked goods was outstanding and the size of the individual items would definitely require additional help when time came to consume anything. The store itself is small but has that old school feel to it and reminded me of corner shops I used frequent as a child. The one staff member we interacted with... didn't seem to be having a good day. Curt, abrupt answers and not a smile in sight. Aside from that an experience I'd recommend for anyone passing through town or otherwise.
Haven't been here yet. I have heard both bad and good about this place. Will come soon to properly review.
Pastry shop has been downtown for so many years! I bought their crusty buns for my wedding reception, I bought cakes for occasions from there, and always go in for a nice treat and we're going downtown for coffee! The ladies are always super friendly and everything is absolutely traditional delicious cakes and cookies and bread! So good! You have to go down early or the good stuff is sold out!
Best bakery in Prince, they have all the traditional donuts (highly recommend custard filled long johns) as well as some European (ie less sweet) pastry. The orange Napoleon was very good.
Great service. Excellent product.
Was yelled at by the owner in a store full of ppl for having a 25lb service dog sitting at my feet. She pointed and raised her voice saying ‘you can’t have that in here! what are you thinking there is food in here!’ i explained i’ve never had an issue going into grocery stores and cafes and didn’t see a sign on the door, she went off about how this isn’t a cafe and muttered to her employee how idiotic it is to bring a dog into a store that has food in it… terrible experience will not be returning nor will friends or family
The best baked goods I've ever had in my life at incredibly reasonable prices. The apple donut is the size of your face and costs like$2.50. Will visit again and again
The best Sourdough light rye bread I have ever had. I would go there every day for fresh loaves when I lived there. When I moved to the lower mainland, I tried everywhere. The closest was in North Vancouver, but it closed when the parent company moved to Langley. Still wasn't as good. I now have to pay my daughter to bring some with her when she visits. Then cakes? Did I say cakes? Try the cinnamon pull-apart. wooo.
Its a old school German bakery. And its amazing

Great service. The owner are awesome very nice.
As authentic as you're going to find in northern BC. Excellent selection of breads and savories along side a huge selection of sweet treats. They also carry a variety of condiments from Germany. No credit card but accepts debit with tap.
The most amazing homemade donuts! I ordered a tray of them for my daughter‘s birthday and they didn’t last a minute!
Very good pastries in there we'll go back again
Many good deserts, donuts are the best in town. The bread is so much better than store bought, you can taste that it is bakery fresh. Staff is always friendly. No complaints but I do wish they did have one cheesy/herb bread option. I highly recommended this place. Must try.
