Great service! Our peppercorn steaks were cooked perfectly. Bruschetta was also delish!
Our book club met at The Firm on a Monday, the night before Valentines. There were only a few other patrons, and the service was great. They set the table in a square, super for 12 people. They were out of 2 mains, the stew and the chicken. These dishes were both recommended by others as their best dishes. They were also out of one of the appy selections. Considering it wasn't a busy restaurant that evening, the shortages of their most popular items were disappointing. The food we did get was great. The friend with the Pad Thai ate only a few bites as she found it way too spicy for her tastes. Everyone else enjoyed their meals.
Confusing atmosphere - the giant TV playing sports at the bar kind of undercuts the rest of the fine dining-esque decor and vibe. Also, a significant chunk of the menu is sandwich and fries combos, which again doesn't quite fit the fine dining vibe.Drink menu not very informative - no prices listed for wines. The server was very helpful in explaining what the wines were, and that they are seasonal so they change. However, as a customer, it would be cool to know the price before I order an $18 glass of wine. Even a range of prices would be fine. How long would it really take to type up a Word document listing the current wines and their prices? Restaurants do special drinks/food all the time, and I have never been to one that doesnt have an accompanying seasonal menu when there are seasonal items.Found it strange that the food menu says the chef will cook whatever he wants and randomly throw things in so there may be ingredients in it that aren't listed in the menu. Why bother listing any ingredients then?Don't eat here if you can't handle onions. Everything everything everything is cooked with onions, save for 3 things on the menu (one being a veggies and dip plate). If you have dietary restrictions they have a very helpful chart for each menu item, but pickings are slim if you have more than one dietary restriction or don't like seafood. The wagyu burger was well-cooked and the fries were fine, but $25 seems a little high for a burger and fries combo, even if it is Wagyu. Our server was a lovely woman who seemed very afraid to ask the chef to make menu item modifications. We tipped her well because we felt bad for her, but we won't be going back as there are better fine dining restaurants in PG.
Food was great but the service was really bad. Not only were we served the wrong drinks, but my virgin Caesar had a hair on the pickle stick. When I said I was done with this drink and it wasn’t even half empty there was no effort to see what the problem was ?There was a plastered regular that was fumbling around, dropped her chair infront of another couple (who were served their starter waters and then got up and left) and the server had her undivided attention on serving said regular, rather than her only other table (us). Not only this but when the other couple got up and left, the plastered regular yelled out “it’s not McDonald’s, don’t come back” while the server allowed it and laughed it off. This makes a 5 star restaurant look like a pub.Again, great food- but the server needs to prioritize her tables, not the bar full of regulars while there’s a bartender on shift. ?
The Firm has excellent food and great service. We had the calamari and baked brie for applies. We then had peppercorn sirloin steak and buffalo chicken penne as our mains and they were delicious. I recommend trying one of their tasty cocktails.
Just left there. Great food. Great service.Had the coconut shrimp and seafood spaghetti. Both excellent.
Food was awesome! Considering we came in, a hour before close, everyone was very friendly & prompt. Only note, would possibly like to see a more advance menu possibly with a few more main course options like Chicken Alfredo. ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The service is great! The staff are very attentive and they are very friendly. I ordered the Pad Thai and their Moscow Muel. The Pad Thai is a very healthy serving. I added prawns to my bowl, and it was delicious. Everything was cooked and seasoned just right. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the company.
i absolutely love this place! me and my mom went for late mothers day a few months ago, and we're early eaters so we went around four. the place was empty which meant we got the best service around! our server recommended the coconut prawns as an appy and it was seriously the best thing i've ever tasted. i got their buffalo chicken pasta and my mom got the pad thai. mine was great and my mom said that hers had a little bit too much ginger but other than that great. i ate it the next day as well and it was good. it's a little bit pricey but other than that we will come again!
Food and service were great! Steak was done perfectly and the fried icecream was amazing. So happy I brought my mamma here for her birthday

My wife called to make a reservation more then a week in advance ! Ordered a wagu steak knowing it was a special order ! Owner said to call back 2 days prior to coming ! Called 2 days prior and wagu steak was confirmed ! Showed up for reservation , ordered coconut shrimp appy (very good ) and a couple drinks . When it came time to order main dish ,my wife ordered the seafood pasta and the wagu steak ! The waitress advised there was no wagu taken out and it was not available! We advised her that we called twice as directed . She then spoke with both the chef and owner who confirmed the conversation with my wife and then wrote it off to somebody dropped the ball !!!! Didn’t seem to be a big deal to them ! I expressed my disappointment to the waitress who was very apologetic . We should have left at that point but being a Saturday night at 6 pm we would not have been able to get into another restaurant. The waitress recommended the rib eye steak as a replacement . I went with this at a cost of $44 . To our surprise our main came in under 5 minutes !! My wife’s seafood pasta was good ! The $44 Rib Eye was extremely thin , tough and luke warm ! Can’t help but think an executive chef had pre cooked this steak and then threw it on the grill quickly to warm it ! I didn’t complain about the steak as it was just another level of disappointment at this point ! The waitress took 10 % off our bill and asked for a second chance ! The waitress was good and was actually embarrassed! Seeing the chef and owner who were in the restaurant at this time and failed to address the issue directly with us is disappointing to say the least ! As the saying goes you don’t get a second chance to make a good first impression !
Went to The Firm - Lounge & Grill last night. We sat on the roof-top patio, it was a beautiful evening, and the ambiance was perfect. We were greeted prompty by a knowledgeable server who poured great beverages. The food was incredible. Calamari and mussels for appetizers. I eat mussels any time I can, and I haven't had ones taste this good in a very long time. The calamari was the most authentic I have had since working with Greeks in Victoria over a decade ago. Plenty of delicious tsadziki for dipping. For supper I had the Pad Thai with prawns, and the server did a great job at upselling the Wagu rib-eye for my husband. It was delicious. Worth the extra $$, not too sure. I'm a sauce person, and the pad thai could have used a bit more sauce, but the flavor was still there. Lots of leftovers for today ?Took pictures of the appies, but not of the food.
We had dinner here in August 2022, we sat in the patio/rooftop and had very pleasant end of the day. The staff is friendly and the service was quick. Ines had the vegetables and she absolutely recommends them, super tasty (not fried, bingo!) and well seasoned. Carlos had the burguer and also enjoyed it.
