Awful experience at this place. My wife was in the store and had purchased a drink and some pastries. I joined her later after grabbing a coffee from Starbucks. This is around 10 am on a Monday and the store was empty. The lady on cash had the audacity to bluntly tell me to get out of the store as I was holding a Starbucks drink. Even though I was there sitting with my wife and eating some pastry from this coffee shop. She was extremely rude and it’s absurd that in Prince George they’d ask me to leave the store for Gavin a Starbucks cup even though my wife had ordered at least $20 worth of stuff from them.Horrible place and I hope they remain closed for good. I’ve never been so embarrassed and this is the last place in the world I thought I’d run across a Karen.Avoid this place, they’re awful.

Really disappointed in the owner today. I was sad to see them go until I walked in there today with my girlfriend only to be told her drink "really upset her" despite us trying to come in and do crafts and get another drink.

The Makerie is a unique coffee shop that does more than just coffee. You can go in and just have a drink, or you can go in, have a drink, and participate in making arts and crafts. The staff are great, and they'll help you out with anything you need, whether drink or craft related. They have an extensive coffee drinks menu and drinks can also be ordered hot or iced, so you have lots of options. They also have baked goods and pastries, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

I love going here? the foods a little pricey, but if it's all made there I guess it could be considered reasonable. The staff are so friendly, and it's a very safe and comforting atmosphere:)

What a unique spot, offering fun crafts and yummy café treats and beverages! I recently had the lavender lemonade and it was refreshing. Staff are all sweet and helpful; Olivia is always cheerful, for sure the best craftender there is! Great café for a date, to grab a quick snack, or to have a fun time with the family.Dietary restrictions: They always ask if you want regular milk or a milk alternative in drinks (soy, oat, almond)

An amazing addition to PG. They have yummy baked goods and the coffee is perfection.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly environment for craftingParking: Free street parking can be hard depending on the day/time but there is a paid lot close by. Though if you circle the blocks a few times something usually comes availableWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible bathrooms and entrance had a nice low ramp. Lots of space inside and low tables

I’d recommend the caramel oat latte.

Such a cool little cafe, I'm not much of a crafter, but their coffee and pastries are delicious.

Loved the Makerie! Was excited to find this gem while visiting Prince George. Coffee was great, had a gluten free cookie (which is always a risk), and it was very very good. The atmosphere was inviting, very encouraging to be creative. You can go in groups and craft, plan ahead or buy a kit there. Very fun.

Coffee was burnt, making it taste really bitter especially chilled. The fruit drink ordered was a bad flavor once mixed. The cheese bun was overwhelmingly Meh and the macarons tasted like foodcolouring and little else. The crafts offered cost way way to much. It should NOT cost 7 dollars to make a SINGLE button in a button machine. It should cost 3 tops.Beyond this though the staff was lovely and they saved it from ending up a 1 star review.this is not a place worth stopping at for lunch when you can get the same experience for half the price with a walk through dollar tree and trip to starbucks
