Came for a late lunch and ate the halibut fest Raincoast Salad. I’ve eaten here a million times over the past 44 years and I need to declare: BEST MEAL EVER! The halibut was cooked perfectly- still moist - in a crispy Parmesan crust. The greens were finished in a sensational lemon herb vinaigrette and absolutely complimented the fish. This is a warm, cozy and sophisticated lounge with a touch of tradition. stunning oceanfront setting, conservatory, and heated deck with panoramic is all true. You can read a book, enjoy your me time or have a group time together for a lounge. I liked the collection of Whiskey, Beers and Wine. Good for romantic one on one.
I have the pleasure of working in Prince Rupert for about a week a month. I frequent Charley’s and the service is second to none. A lot of places these days leave a lot to be desired service wise. But, not here! Every server treats you as their own table. The food is fantastic and they have a meal to fit every budget. The fisherman’s spaghetti is absolutely to die for! Old fashioned is my favourite drink! Can’t say enough about this place. Even the view is awesome.
