Excellent cappuccinos and I love the chocolate sprinkles too. Good gluten-free muffins and more. Lovely staff and always very welcoming. Centrally located and easy to find. Very much recommend this lovely little cafe.

Really nice, friendly coffee shop. Easy to access with street parking out front and a few parking spaces at the back off West 2nd Street. The staff are gracious even when very busy, and the beautiful courtyard tucked away at the back has lovely seating and landscaping. My scone was fresh and delicious. My cappuccino was nice but not excellent. I would rate it a 7/10. It was closer to a latte in strength and it had chocolate sprinkled on top (not what coffee snobs like me expect). The only other drawback was the easy-listening rock music (playing at a moderate volume). They did turn it down at my request but it was turned back up after five minutes. I would have preferred just to sit quietly listening to the birds. But don’t let those two minor points deter you from visiting: it’s a lovely spot and I’ll certainly be back.

One of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Warm and nice atmosphere inside and outside the cafe. Interior design is pleasant. Orange olive oil cake was such a wow! I really liked it. High quality coffee was served as well. Everything was just the way it should be! Highly recommended . Unfortunately I’m not living around to be able to enjoy it everyday. Staff are outstanding too.

The new owners have kept up the high standards of the previous long time proprietors. Even more so...the ability to continue to get 'specialty' dietary options - celiac or gluten free - makes this a place I can take even my friends with the most complicated diet needs. Great coffee, fabulous food and intimate shady outside courtyard, and close to the farmers market, make it an easy decision to frequent the cafe. Visitors have told me they make the best gluten free sandwiches they've ever had!

Just walked in for a quick coffee and snack to go, but can't wait to go back! The ladies behind the counter were super friendly, the drip coffee was delicious, and OMG... the cheesy bacon cornbread muffin?!?! Come on! Shouldn't be legal ? Definitely stop in here if you are in town ?

I visited for breakfast recently and it was wonderful. I ordered a Southwestern Breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! I also had their freshly baked blueberry muffin as well as a cup of their coffee (the best coffee in Qualicum I think!). Service was efficient and friendly....service with a smile. The outdoor seating on the back patio is so sweet and serene. The new owners have established a really lovely Cafe in town with a very relaxing atmosphere. Thank you! I'll be back!

Stopped by this cute little spot with a gorgeous backyard patio (a courtyard, one might say?) and had great and friendly service as well as a delicious vegan soup and sandwich. No vegan baked goods when I went there but I heard they were going to be adding some soon! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Popped in for breakfast sandwiches and coffees to go while staying in Qualicum for a few days.We got a sourdough breakfast sandwich with bacon each and an americano each.The sandwiches were amazing, so fresh and well put together, mmmmmmmm. Enjoyed the coffee so much we popped in the next morning on our way out of town to get another. I love when small cafes are everything you expect and hope they will be and Courtyard Coffee hits the nail on the head. Thanks for making our morning delicious.
