How could you ever have a better combination? Airplanes, friendly service and great food all in one place. Our go to place when we are in the area. I’m sure this will soon be #1 in Qualicum. The only hitch is that if you go, you may not get a table during peak hours. This place is busy because it’s good.

Take out Fish/Chips tonight - very very delicious! Large portions of Cod and chips including extra condiments. All prepared perfectly. Thanks to the pleasant staff both on phone & when we picked up order. Will do this again.

Staff are attentive, knowledgeable of their menu and generally happy. The food has always been really good, portion sizes are filling and delicious. I have had the fish and chips, halibut and throughly enjoyed them. Last night I tried the chorizo and prawn linguini and was nicely surprised by the amount of sausage and prawns I got. Was amazing. Would definitely recommend trying this establishment if you are in the area.

What a fabulous place for a 'girls lunch'! I've been coming here for years and this place never disappoints! The girls and I sat on the patio and watched the planes fly in and out. The service was awesome and the food was delicious! We shared the calamari, flatbread and sliders. The food here is always consistent! Whoever is doing the cooking is to be commended!

Denied a certified service dog. Asked me for certification which I provided and still denied me access. Complaint lunched with the ministry. It's a up to a $3000 fine. Education is expensive. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else there. what a shame.

The service was super friendly and easily answered our questions. We had the Mile High Club, Blackened Chicken Sandwich and the Risotto Arancini. All 3 were perfection. The patio was lovely and quiet excluding the occasional airplane landing or taking off which was pretty cool. We definitely recommend visiting.

Had a wonderful lunch here yesterday. Servers were polite and very attentive. The beef stew was delicious! My husband had the meat-lovers omelet. Loaded filling and worth the price. Nice view of the runway with lots happening. Small, intimate feeling. Also has a lovely patio right on the runway. Worth looking for this out of the way place.
This is our second time eating at the Final Approach Restaurant. The 1st time was for lunch and it was so good we decided to come back again the next week for dinner. It surpassed all our expectations!! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Forgive me if I got the waitress's name wrong, but I believe her name was Megan? She was so friendly and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back again!

Great service and good food. We flew in from the mainland just for this restaurant. Everyone we encountered here was super friendly with the warm island vibe which in itself was worth the flight. This time we got the weekend brunch menu. While being still decent, imo it was not as good as how I remembered the lunch/dinner items. The brunch was good, but the steak sandwich and fish and chips we had on the previous visit were top notch.
