Gary’s is a wonderful local place for breakfasts! It’s my favourite place in Qualicum Beach to have eggs Benny or omelettes! I am so glad Gary’s stayed open after Gary passed on. It’s a Qualicum staple!

It's a decent option for lunch. It's your standard dinner menu and I opted for the Pork Schweizer for $22. It wasn't authentic or gourmet, but it was homey dinner fare. It was good, not great for what it is. The service was friendly and professional. The decor was unique and interesting.

I was a bit alarmed by the fact that they want to charge you $1.50 per extra item inside an omelette. And $6.00 for a side of ham or bacon. They have become unaffordable
Veal cutlets were tough and hard to eat. I would not recommend them. Fries and burger were good.

I ordered the 2 eggs/toast/hash browns breakfast. They charged me for the sausage and eggs breakfast minus $1.00. Seriously!! $18.00 for that. The sausage breaky includes 2 bangers. $1.00 for 2 bangers. I understand it’s a tough business, but is that really fair to the guest? Not pleased…
