This was a lovely little spot. The server was sweet and bubbly and added to our dining experience. I was surprised that the menu was mainly pizza but really enjoyed the one I chose...pesto chicken. I had foccacia bread and caesar salad to start. My partner had caprese salad and spaghetti bolognese. He enjoyed it. To finish, we shared the chocolate mousse. We sat outside and enjoyed the night air. If we are in Qualicum again, we will come back.

Had the pizza and as usual it was awesome! Very fresh ingredients, tasty sauce, and amazing tasting dough. I always look forward to having it again.

Arrived at the restaurant at 7:19pm and the server said they were closed for dinning in because the kitchen closed at 7:30pm. Then why don’t you update your time on Google (it says ‘close at 8pm’), so people wouldn’t drive all the way to find out that the kitchen actually closes 41minutes early than your commitment.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner in the dining room at Giovanni’s , the staff was attentive, prompt and courteous. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, I didn’t catch his name, he was from Montreal and he truly cares about his guests and reads the room very well. The food was amazing, our dinner, dessert and drinks exceeded our expectations. Start to finish- our service was incredible. Thank you to Simon and his amazing team of staff for going above and beyond to provide us with such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely after work appetizer and take out dining experience. Tracy our server, was attentive but not intrusive, which is very nice when you’re trying to catch up after a busy day at work. She has very good intuition and provided excellent service. She reads body language and eye signals very well - I was impressed. We preordered some pizzas to take home after our appetizers, and she timed everything perfectly to be ready right when we were done. We had the prawns Provençal, bruschetta, some wine and nice local beer. We took the Mexicana pizza and my friend took the Meatlovers home. Both were delicious and perfectly prepared. Nice work Giovanni’s - Eat local!
