The sapphire room was gorgeous and such an amazing experience and vibe, I chose this restaurant to propose to my now fiancé. Michelle, Caroline, Steve and staff went above and beyond to make the moment special. We reserved the library room, were I popped the question and Steve was very helpful in carpeting the moment, Michelle made an amazing amuse bouche platter to accompany out champagne before dinner, our dinner was amazing, the rack of lamb and fillet were cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable. Thank you to the whole staff and team for making our moment any night very memorable and unforgettable.

My halibut was 10/10. Cooked perfectly and the flavour was well balanced. I told my friend it may have been one of the best fancier meals I have had in a long time. They were short staffed but the chef came out and helped which was a fun addition to the evening. The power went out for little bit, they lit candles, it was a wonderful ambience, it just got really hot in the dining room!

We had an incredible dining experience in the Sapphire Room at the Crown Mansion Boutique Hotel in Qualicum Beach, BC. The dining room in the Mansion was cozy and comfortable with beautiful wood carvings. And the food! One of the beat meals we've had in a long time. I had the swimmer scallops embedded in a risotto that was the perfect accompiant. Honestly, just fabulous. My husband had the fresh halibut and his plate was as clean as it was before food was placed on it. Another resounding success! We were visiting a friend in Qualicum Beach and this is our new go to hotel and dining spot!

The chef even came out at the end to see how it was We could have ordered one of everything as it all looked amazing. The atmosphere is definitely a senior crowd with English china displayed around the rooms. A very quiet but charming location.

If you want to look at dining area before coming to eat you'll be told "ok but please don't disturb the guests" - not sure what that means but maybe they're not really fond of having people who are not staying at the hotel eating with them. The place looked very old and the menu not very modern looking either. Overall we got a bad vibe that we weren't welcome so we did not eat there. You can take it for whatever that's worth.

What a jewel. Old world charm, incredible food, friendly service - a special treat in Qualicum Beach. The salads were unique, beautiful, and delicious. The Petit Filet from the Feature sheet was savoury and cooked precisely. The Halibut was thick, dense, and flavourful. Dessert was a lemon tart with little merengue drops. A little pricey but worth it- especially for a special occasion.

We had mother's day dinner here and it was unbelievable! From the warm greeting when we walked in the door, the beautiful ambiance, the delicious food and the personal hello from the head chef. We ordered the scallops (opted for the gluten free risotto substitute), the pork tenderloin, and the halibut - with the prawn fonue to start. Everything was cooked to perfection and everything came with lots of creativley cooked and presented vegetables. Some of the best meals we've had in a long time - will be back for the next birthday or anniversary for sure! Before you go walk down the hall of old photos and check out the old sitting room set up at the end - so many neat antiques and artifacts!

What a wonderful dining experience. It started when we walked in through the doors and finished when we walked out after spending 2 hours enjoying our time together and the best dinner we have had in a very long time.The atmosphere was top notch, lovely decore in a warm and welcoming dining room. We shared the spot prawn appetizer and the caesar salad, big enough to share between 4 of us. I had the scallops with pasta and the scallops were done to perfection. My partner had the steak and it was also perfect. The flavours and the variety on our plates was out of this world. Hats off to the chef, who came out after our meal and said hello, what a nice touch. We finished off our dinner with a sundae and a big piece of cheesecake, the perfect ending. Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely be back.

I took my wife to The Sapphire Room at The Mansion in Qualicum Beach for her special birthday. We were seated at a beautiful table by the window. The service was thoroughly professional, unhurried and attentive - thanks Steve-o. We shared a classic Caesar salad, one of the best ever. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, and chef Michelle nailed it. Served with a lobster cake, potato and mixed vegetables - a perfect combination. The Argentine Malbec rounded out a wonderful meal. We added the chocolate brownie dessert with another glass of wine - the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
