I just wanted to say, my girlfriend invited me for Thanksgiving dinner, of which was ordered from the shady rest restaurant, and I have to tell you it was absolutely wonderful. The dinner was everything you wanted within a Thanksgiving dinner. The flavours were wonderful. I will say your pumpkin pie was just perfect.The homemade cranberry sauce was tremendous, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who prepared this meal to allow us to be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner....
My friend and I came for a lunch here last weekend. We had Fish & Chips (Halibut) it was delicious. Compliments to the cook and also our waitress Sadie, she was very helpful and friendly with prompt service.
This is a great casual water front restaurant.The food is surprising great and we found the service superior to other restaurants in this price range. The food and service is 5 star in a relaxed environment.
