Quick counter serve spot with delicious fish and chips! Unique batter recipe, nice and light with dill in it, and the crispy fries were a great side. Didn’t leave room for soft serve ice cream which I regretted! Will definitely swing by again next time I’m through the area.
My husband and I went to Shore for a light dinner, so we ordered and shared fish and chips, and had our own dessert; mine was a “Typhoon” choice—a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a cup while hubby got a Dole whipped ice cream in a cone 🍦. The batter for our cod fish was light and crispy, and the fries for our chips were cut slightly thick like in England. It also came with plenty of malt vinegar packets which we appreciated. It was decently priced at $20-something...
We make this a must stop whenever we're passing through on our vacation. The fish n chips and fish tacos are great with large portions making a good value. It's a self serve restaurant on the shores of Qualicum beach. The patio has great views of the beach and ocean with some tables under a roof and others have umbrella's. Staff are always super friendly.
