Wow! An excellent selection of everything you could want - we went for it and loaded up after receiving a recommendation from a friend to make Wild Culture one of our first places to go. It was Friday so we bought a Mushroom Pizza to take home and bake - loved it - just wish I had a wood fired pizza oven to do it justice. Also got some Jalapeño bread, a baguette, two cheese cake slices, chocolate cake and carrot cake. All of it was exceptional and we will be back again and again....
I bought a loaf of Cinnamon Raisin sourdough at the Naked Whole Foods in Qualicum. I love it so much! It's organic and made with heirloom grains. Absolutely delicious toasted with butter and jam! :)
A great hidden gem. Great selection of sourdough breads, cookies etc. Grab a (drip) coffee & a delicious cookie and sit outside in their covered garden/patio. Watch for the small sign on the road. The line up is sometimes out the door!! You can order their bread in advance then you won’t be disappointed. This place is very close to the cycle path that goes between Parksville - Qualicum. They don’t open till 12:00 noon!!
