“Out of any place I have tried in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley, I would go here EVERY time! So much of it is homemade, fresh and consistent. Great attention to detail and that's the kind of food I am satisfied to WAIT for and PAY for. You can only get this quality cheaper by making it yourself. The prices do sting but I am a fairly frugal person so I accept that they are well within the fair range (whoever determines that).The deep fried items have an addictive carnival flavour. The lovely sauces they use to top the chimis do make them soggy in those spots, so I will ask for them on the side next time because I enjoy the crunch of fried foods.I can't wait to treat myself again. The 8 inch chimi that I ate on the sidewalk last week was bursting with flavour on so many levels. I had their take-out several years ago and the flavours and textures left a delicious impression then as well; knowing I most likely would not eat such satisfying Mexican cuisine until I should return to Quesnel.I can't imagine the food has ever been deserving of the low reviews, but I try to remember that every person and place has their off/busy days and moments.As for cash only, I appreciate it for sentimental and zealous reasons. There are places and times when only digital payment is accepted, so it's no crime in my mind.“

“It was great. Mr. Mikes did fabulous on all fronts. Unfortunately there was a hockey team eating at the same time as our anniversary dinner so that wasn't ideal but not something Mr mikes can control. Funny enough it wasn't the kids but the parents standing at tables to talk to other parents. It was quite distracting.“
