Cool atmosphere, decent food, terrible service. I’ll preface with the resturant was not busy on this Monday evening- I worked years in hospitality and typically give a lot of grace. We waited over 30 minutes after ordering to receive our appetizer. Our server did not check in this entire time. She eventually came over and asked if we had received it yet. We told her we had not and so she said she would check in with the kitchen. She then told us they dropped it on the floor so needed to make another one. We eventually received the appitizer and other entree items after an additional 20ish minutes. Multiple tables seated after us had already ate, paid, and left. The server was not apologetic and did not even offer to remove the appetizer from the bill after the kitchen mistake and excessive wait time. This was our first time at this restaurant and had high hope, but will not be back after this disappointing experience.

Our visit to The Village Idiot in Revelstoke truly elevated our vacation experience! Being from Kerala, a southern part of India where seafood, especially mussels, is a daily staple, we were thrilled with the incredible mussels served here. The flavors were spot-on and brought a comforting sense of home.

Everything we ordered, from the drinks to the burgers, was fantastic. The quality and freshness of the food really stood out, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. We came in after reading glowing reviews, and now we’re leaving our own to encourage fellow tourists to visit this gem. If you’re ever in Revelstoke, don’t miss out on this place!

We sat at a table against the wall as if we were on display for the restaurant. It was weird but fine because we dubbed it the "village idiots" table. The Oink Oink Tacos with mushrooms subbed for the pork belly were unbelievably fantastic.

Great place in Revelstoke.
The waitresses, bartenders and service were all very nice.
We had to wait briefly at the bar until a table became available. Since we liked the bar, we stayed there to eat.
The bartenders did a good job and were quick and attentive.
The food was good.
Only the fries were a bit too dark and hard that evening, but I would overlook that based on the rest.
Clear recommendation.

My husband and I were visiting from South Florida and decided to stop in on Monday September 23, after a long day of hiking. We were both blown away by the food and how welcoming everyone was, especially Molly! She was the best bartender we ever had. I highly recommend stopping here for some incredible pizza and drinks. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved it, amazing vibes, and delicious pizza. I made a custom pizza with some feta and it was absolutely delicious! A little pricey but the small pizza was enough to take some leftovers home.

Great service and nice atmosphere with a heated patio. Can people watch!
