I spilled my large coffee all over the place today and there was a young lady who came over and cleaned it up and then gave a a free coffee. I am very grateful and happy. I appreciate her kindness a lot.

Have been here several times over the years. Service is always excellent, staff are friendly. The food is good quality. Coffee free refill. The best location in Richmond by far. Free parking inside Garden City Plaza.

A&W claims to uphold high-quality standards, yet my recent experience at their Garden City location in Richmond was completely unacceptable. I ordered the Chubby Chicken Cruncher with yam fries and root beer, but the food quality fell far short of any reasonable expectation. The chicken was dry and tough, devoid of any crispiness. The yam fries were cold and soggy, clearly having been fried hours earlier. To make matters worse, I ended up with diarrhea after the meal. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable. As this was my first visit, it will undoubtedly be my last. The owner must take immediate action to ensure that the staff meets the quality standards expected from this brand.

Right away the employee replied in an upset and condescending tone, told me to stop rushing him and demanded I stopped shouting when all I said was hello......
