This place is fantastic! We had the ocean tasting menu and it was a flavour burst in every course. The best part was the selection of fun cocktails to open the meal. We also opted for a wine pairing to enhance our meal. The service is amazing and the attention to the small details made the evening delightful. A hidden gem for a romantic evening or a quiet night out with amazing food.

Food was great today! The 6th course and 1st course was amazing and out of the world. Everything was so fresh and unique. The sablefish was amazing. The place was pretty unique in the way they have a pirate chest in which they put the current course card in.This experience was what I expected from a fine dining restaurant in DT Vancouver and I'm happy that Richmond finally gets a restaurants like this instead of more Asian restaurants(nothing wrong with it! more variety is always better.) It really stood out and I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time I will come back to this place. I'm also glad that I came here early as this gem will get popular in the future. One nit picky thing was the dessert in which each of us got half of a tart for our dessert at the end of the meal. We did felt cheated as we paid 120 per person which was quite pricey and the half tart felt a bit stingy.

March 27th, 2023 Experience: I was lucky to be able to be invited as a plus one for a special soft opening at Acre through the Seasons, located at the old Oo La Cha spot in Versante Hotel in Richmond. For the soft opening, we were served the 7 course set menu and we had a great time getting full without being overstuffed. I found the food comforting in a way, where the ingredients are allowed to shine on their own through dry aging processes without additional or excessive sauce and spice marinating and showcases the freshness of the local nature. Simply put, this is a farm to table establishment drawing inspiration and components for their dishes from ingredients found in and around their lavender farm and greenhouse on Cortes Island, BC. The chefs aim to bring together unique flavor combinations from the forest, foraged vegetation and wild game, and we definitely saw that come through in surprising ways with these dishes. My personal favorite was the Stinging Nettle Risotto from the pairing with the Tare sauce, which I learned yesterday is usually paired with food like Gyoza. The cured yolk was also an amazing addition to the dish adding a unique texture to it, along with the crispy chicken skin. Quite unexpected, but I would love to have this again or make it myself. The other two guests with us and my friend's favorite were the risotto and the wild boar. The wild boar dish tied together well and reminded me of southwest bbq, but it got a little punchy for me at the end since I usually find southwest bbq too strong of a flavor for me. I did like the presentation though and just picturing from the description on the menu, I was already imagining it to be all black and I was not disappointed since it was visually stunning. The campfire dessert was interesting visually but the sauce was a bit too alcoholic for our tastes (as much as I like alcohol). The kitchen's working on balancing out the visual effect with the liquor, but the chef we knew told us he's found it depends on the audience, as a senior couple he served it to ate it all and enjoyed it. What you see here will have been their menu when they opened to the public for the first time for what they call Series 1, and they intend to change up their menu seasonally.

Absolutely perfection! Food, ambiance, service, and more were top tier but felt comfortable. One of my best food experiences ever and I can't wait to keep going back for the new series of food every 3 months. The fact they change the decor and vibe with each menu is just smart.

All food from appetizers to dessert were excellent. They should get Michelin star.Parking: Choice the right one then the elevator can straight from parking lot to the restaurant entrance.

I decided to make a reservation at Acre to celebrate my parents’ 30th anniversary while we were vacationing in Vancouver. This was our first fine dining experience and I think Acre has set the bar incredibly high for anywhere else we go in the future. Terry was our server and he was super attentive to our dietary questions (i had initially requested the vegetarian option but he also informed my parents there were seafood options available) and informative about all of the dishes. The timing in between courses was perfect and every single one was even better than the last. Thank you to Terry and everyone at Acre for their amazing work and for making this an anniversary that my parents will never forget :) (and neither will i)Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian and vegetarian options are available. These can be specified when the reservation is made and the servers are all super approachable if you have any questions.Parking: Parking is part of the Versante Hotel, honestly a decent price at $6 for 4 hours at a pretty high end hotel. The dinner experience takes ~2-2.5 hours.

Had my birthday dinner here with my wife. Restaurant was able to cater to my dietary restrictions, and the vegetarian tasting menu is unlike anything I’ve had in Vancouver. The atmosphere is welcoming and restaurant manager and servers were friendly and thorough. The food is well thought out by the chef and the whole 7 course came together really well. I would definitely come back again when tasting menu changes.

What an amazing experience we had last night at dinner! Food was extremely creative and elevated to the next level. We received top-notch service from our server Terry C! Truly an unforgettable experience that we had and we cannot wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: They truly catered to my dietary restrictions. A lot of the times people do not understand the difficulty in having food allergies. They were extremely attention to detail and provided a food alternative as the original option was marinated with an ingredient I’m allergic to.

ARTistic Dining! Too pleasing on the eyes and mind that I didn't want to eat it.Each piece of artwork is colorful yet balanced, vibrant yet comforting. Finest pieces of art are placed elegantly on its canvas, each with its own theme, elements, and plating style. All courses were outstanding, but courses that came out ahead with the most unquie taste were Course#2 Tomato Thai Basil Sorbet - wow, the tenderness, sweetness of the tomatos with the coolness of basil sorbet and smoothness of the Tofu dressing...don't forget to put all that on top of the charcoal focaccia. AbSoLuteLy ? MarVelouS!Surprisingly Course#4, corn pasta sheet...really? YES, freshly made slat of pasta with a taste of Mexican.Course#6 Wagyu, as expected... it melts in your mouth just like butter. The thin layers of zucchini cooked perfectly - Veggie al dente. ?Can't wait for next season's Artistic Dining menu!

Love the food! Definitely a dining experience that worth trying. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The pace between each courses was perfect! Service were great, they were attentive and you weren't feel bothered at the same time. Haven't been to a restaurant where you feel so relax and quiet enough to have conversations without shouting to each other. The manager was also so nice, it was our wedding anniversary so he gave us a very nice big table and complimentary sparkling wine to start off. :) If you are looking for nice quality food, relaxing place, this would be one to try, PS their cocktails are very yummy too!
